Cordelia and Dawn were painted each others nails on the basement floor, Xander, Connor, and Angel were playing NFL Fantasy Football, Riley and Oz were throwing a real football back and fourth to each other from seperate couches, and Darla was doing Willow's hair,"This is boring."Cordelia whispered to Dawn.
"Yeah. I mean, Buffy's like my sister but when she's not here, life's not centered around her. I mean the Faith look-a-like thing, that put all eyes on her. She's always been like that."
"I know, when we were little, and used to play dress up, this was when she lived over here, She would grab one of dad's jackets and moms dresses, then Oz's shoes, and a bunch of her moms jewelry and I'd be in all my mom's clothes and we'd walk out into the living room and everyone would fawn over Buffy for being sooo creative."Cordelia rolled her eyes and finished with Dawn's nails,"Gorgeous."
"Creative? Please, more like she doesn't know her gender!"Dawn exclaimed and the girls started laughing.
"What's so funny ladies?"Xander asked, not looking away from the game.
"Nothing. Just bored is all. We should do something. I mean, I know Buffy and Faith aren't here but that doesn't mean we can't have fun."Cordelia said.
"I agree. The Center of Attention spot is up for the taking while they're gone. We could go down to the pier and I don't know, do fun things."Darla said, putting a little bit of hair spray in Willow's hair and handing her the mirror.
"Darla! It looks great!"Willow shouted. Her hair was in a floppy bun, spider leg thing.
"We could probably take dad's boat out right Cordy?"Oz asked her.
"Maybe. We'd have to call him though."
"You do it. You're the favorite."Oz threw the phone ar Cordy and she dialed the library.
"Daddy? Hi, it's Cordy. Me and Oz were wondering if we could take the boat out. No, everyone's not here, Buffy and Faith went--I know but--Please?!? Fine. You too. Bye."Cordelia hung up the phone and crossed her arms,"He said no since Buffy and Faith aren't here."
"Doesn't mean we don't go anyways."OZ said getting off the couch.
"You mean we take to boat anyways?"Dawn asked standing and stretching.
"Yeah. The keys are always here. We'll leave Buffy and Faith a note to meet us down there when they get back."Everyone stopped what they were doing and went upstairs to change. Cordelia had been smart and wore her bathing suit under her clothes and so did Xander.
"So, it's just us."Xander said slyly.
"Yep. Just us for a good five minutes."Cordelia scooted closer to Xander on the couch then he scooted closer to her.
"Okay lovebirds break it up!"Dawn yelled coming down the stairs.
"Dawn!"Cordelia jumped to the other side of the couch.
"Don't worry. You'll have pleanty of time on the boat."

Dawn, Cordelia, and Darla were sitting at the back of the boat giggling at the stupid things Xander was doing out in the tube. Angel and Riley were in two tubes tied behind Xander's. Willow was sitting on Oz's lap in the front compartment of the boat. They were talking about anythign and everything practicly. Connor was driving the boat,"I'm gonna stop it so bring Xander and everyone in!"He shouted over the engine.
"Alright."The girls shouted and Connor sped up a little knocking Xander out of his tube along with Angel and Riley and then slowed and stopped. All the girls started laughing.
They pulled the rope tied to Xander's tube and the boat which brought all three tubes in. The boys all swam back to the boat where Darla and Dawn were making sandwitches for everyone,"Think fast."Dawn said throwing Xander a ham and chesse sandwitch. He caught it and started eating.
"Mm. Wonderful. The best I've ever had."Xander joked.
"Haha."Dawn said handing him another sandwitch and a small bag of chips.
"Here you go Angel."Darla said sweetly handing him two turkey sandwitches and a bag of Doritos.
"Thanks."He said taking the food.
"What about me?"Riley asked drying himself off with a towel.
"Calm down Iowa."Dawn said handing him his food.
"Well?"Cordelia asked lounging o Xander's lap.
"Well what?"Darla asked.
"Where's my food?"She asked her.
"It'll be in your hands when you make it."Dawn replied sitting on Connor's lap handing him his food and taking her own.
"Whatever."Cordelia said opening a diet soda.
Suddenly, Cordelia's cell phone rang,"Hello? Mom! Hi. No we're not at home."Cordelia put her hands up as if to say,'What do I tell them?'
"Tell them that we went down to the beach."Connor whispered.
"We went to the beach. We really wanted to take the boat out but, since we couldn't we just decided to go to the beach. Really? We can? Dad changed his mind. Awsome. See you later. Love you mom. Bye."
"Well?"Everyone asked.
"Chill. We're off the hook. Turns out dad changed his mind and decided we can take the boat. We just have to be home by dark."Then her phoe rang again,"Yes mom? Oh hey Buff. Good. Alright, but it might take a little while.Okay. Bye."

Buffy and Faith walked into the house with four bags each,"Hello? Darla? Cordelia? Dawn?"Buffy called out,"Good no one's here. Now I don't have to have a guilt trip for buying new clothes."
"Well, you needed a change in your wardrobe."Faith said putting her bags on the ground,"There's a note."She picked it up and read it out loud,"'Buffy and Faith. We went to the beach on the boat. Meet us down here when you get back. Blah, blah, bring your bathing suits.'Then the writing changes,'And some extra food...'That's from Xander."
"Since we went shopping, now would be a great time to show off our new bathing suits."Buffy said picking up a bag full of bathing suits and underwear,"I'm wearing this one."Buffy pulled out a swimsuit,"You should wear the matching one."
"Duh. Let's go change."The girls rushed upstairs and chainged into their bathing suits then put waist sashes on over them.
"Let me call Cordy and tell her to bring the boat to the pier."Buffy pulled out her cell phone as the girls were walking down the beach,"Hey Cordy. It's not mom it's Buffy. We got your note. Meet us at the pier. Okay. We have time. Yep. Bye."She hung up her phone and put it in her purse,"They said it might take a while. Wanna scope out some hotties, toy with their heads?"
"Like how?"
"Like make them think we're bisexual."
"That's always fun."Faith wrapped her arm around Buffy's waist and Buffy did the same. They noticed a few guys looking at them then walk over to them,"You know we're gonna have to play it up? Flirt with each other, possibly kiss?"
"Yeah. I don't mind."
"Good because neither do I."
"Hey ladies."One of the boys said.
"Hi."Buffy replied as Faith was whispering things in her ear. Buffy giggled,"My friend thinks you're hot."
"Told you."One of the boys whispered in the first guys ear that spoke.
"Told you what?"
"Hi, I'm Ryan. My friends here thought that you two were together. Like lesbian together."The other boy said.
"We are."Faith said.
"Then how can you think that he is hot? Key word being 'he'."
"Because we're bisexual."Buffy said giggling.
"Oh wow. Well, I have a question, my name's Parker by the way, I've never seen girls kiss and I was wondering if--"
"Sure."Faith leaned over and started kissing Buffy. It wasn't your basic peck either, it was full tounge. Buffy was startled at first but then played along.
"Oh dude."The one who they didn't know his name said to Parker.
Faith pulled away and Buffy said,"Listen we're waiting for our friends boat and we have to get to the pier. Hope to see you sometime soon."Buffy and Faith walked off. Once they were far enough Buffy burst into laughter, so did Faith.
"They totally fell for it!"Faith exclaimed.
"I fell for it!"The walked to the end of the pier and sat down.
"Yeah. So did I. I mean if we were have to be watching us...wait, that came out in a word jumble.If we were watching us I think I would've totally fell for it."
"Yeah. But it was just an act."
"Yeah, totally. I'm not a lesbo."
"Neither am I. I like--"
"Angel."
"What?! No! No...riley."
"No, I see it in both of you. You're both totally in...I don't know what but you defedently have the hots for each other."
"I did, but Riley's nice. And you're his girlfriend."
"He's slowly losing interest in me. With you around anyways. He wants you. Not me anymore. He could want both of us, at the same time but what guy wouldn't?"
Buffy laughed slightly,"Look there's the boat."They stood up and Xander parked the boat by the dock.
"Hey ladies. Want a ride?"
"Gee mister, why not?"Faith and Buffy got into the boat.
Riley hugged Buffy and she reluctantly hugged him back then sat at the front of the boat with Faith, Angel, Willow, and Oz.
Faith smiled at Buffy and started making out with Angel. Little did anyone know, Angel was thinking about Buffy all the while.
