Obedience School: Part Six
INT. LAMASERY HALLWAY
Jordy walks down the hallway in his robes. He
opens a door to the outside....
INT. LAMASERY ROCK GARDEN - NIGHT
Bodies of the dead monks lie everywhere. Snarling
is heard. Jordy turns and sees a werewolf
silhouetted by the full moon.
JORDY
Oh... you've got to be kidding me.
The werewolf snarls and runs toward Jordy. Jordy
slams the door shut and takes off running. The
werewolf breaks through the door and chases after
him. Jordy runs down a set of steps to a door. He
opens and runs through the door into...
INT. A CHAMBER
Nobody has been here in ages. Destroyed tables and
display cases lie everywhere. A thick layer of
dust covers everything. Jordy rushes in and slams
the door behind him and bolts it. Almost
immediately we hear the sound of the werewolf
slamming against the door and snarling.
Breathing hard, Jordy looks around for a weapon
and picks up a broken table leg.
LOKI
(OS) That's not going to do you any
good.
Jordy turns and sees Loki standing by the door.
LOKI
But you do have one thing that will turn
the tide.
JORDY
Master Loki! It's-
LOKI
I know what it is.
Loki walks over to the door and starts to unlatch
it.
JORDY
What are you doing?!
Loki shrugs.
LOKI
It's not me it wants...
Loki opens the door and the werewolf leaps at him.
Loki gestures and the werewolf flies across the
room, slamming against the wall. The werewolf
barks in surprise, and scrambles to its feet. Loki
waves his hand again and the werewolf freezes.
JORDY
How... How did it get into the lamasery?
LOKI
Get in?
Loki laughs.
LOKI
He never left.
Loki waves his hand and the werewolf transforms
into a human being... falling to the ground with
the trademark red hair of...
JORDY
Oz?
Oz lies on the floor moaning in pain... obviously
out of his mind.
OZ
(groaning)
Monkey... Hippo... no pants mocking.
Jordy rushes to attack Loki.
JORDY
You sick motherfu-
Loki waves his hand at Jordy and sends him flying
into a wall. Jordy tries to move but is held there
as if by... (surprise) magic. Loki wags his finger
in disappointment.
LOKI
Language.
Jordy gives Loki a look of pure hatred.
JORDY
What did you do to him?
LOKI
What's more important is what you're
going to do to him.
Loki walks up and gets directly in Jordy's face.
LOKI
It's decision time kiddo. Time to see if
you've really learned anything. When I
release your cousin, he'll turn back
into a werewolf and come after you.
JORDY
Why are you doing this?
LOKI
Well, if you turn into a werewolf... and
by that I mean *turn* into a werewolf
and lose all control. Well... then we'll
know that you didn't learn your lesson.
JORDY
I'll kill him!
LOKI
Hmmm... maybe. However if you don't turn
into a werewolf, then we'll know that
you have studied well and have defeated
the wolf within.
JORDY
But he'll kill me.
LOKI
Yeah. So? Isn't this what you wanted to
know? If you're going to break under the
pressure and hurt the ones you love?
This way you'll die knowing you won't
hurt anyone. Isn't that nice to know?
JORDY
You're insane!
Loki gives Jordy a look of disgust and heads for
the door.
LOKI
Pfft. Kids. No gratitude whatsoever.
Loki opens the door, turns and gives Jordy an evil
grin.
LOKI
Good luck kid.
And with that he leaves. Jordy moves away from the
wall and runs to his cousin.
JORDY
Oz? Oz?
OZ
Get away. It's coming back.
Jordy runs to the door. Duh. It's locked.
JORDY
Yeah. Wouldn't be that simple.
OZ
Get out.
JORDY
I don't think that's going to work Oz.
OZ
Then kill me. Now.
JORDY
No. I won't. I can't.
Oz begins to transform. Jordy looks around the
room for something to defend himself.
JORDY
What did he say? Something to turn the-
Jordy reaches into his pocket and pulls out the
small dagon sphere. He glances over at Oz who is
slowly transforming.
JORDY
Let's hope this works.
Jordy sits down in the lotus position and closes
his eyes.
JORDY
Please God. Let it work.
Jordy concentrates and we begin to see what he
sees in his mind. We hear his heartbeat... calm
and steady. We hear rapid heart beat and the straining
sound of Oz transforming as well as his cries.
A gray mist surrounds Jordy. A low growl emanates
from the mist. A snarling werewolf... not Oz...
but the werewolf Jordy would appear as walks
through the mist. It barks and growls at Jordy as
the mist falls away.
Jordy opens his eyes and stares into the wolf's
eyes. The wolf goes nuts. It snaps its jaws at
Jordy. It snarls. Spittle flies everywhere.
Jordy grips the dagon sphere tight in his hand.
JORDY
Down boy.
The wolf continues to go nuts. Jordy closes his
eyes again, concentrating.
JORDY
Quiet.
The wolf slowly backs down. It continues to growl,
but not as fierce.
JORDY
Sit.
The wolf bares its teeth and snarls. Jordy opens
his eyes and looks directly into the wolf's eyes.
JORDY
Sit.
The wolf growls again... but it sits.
JORDY
Roll over?
The wolf barks and then bares its teeth, growling.
JORDY
Okay. We'll work on that.
A menacing growl permeates both Jordy and the
wolf's space. Jordy smiles.
JORDY
Time to go to work.
INT. CHAMBER
Oz has fully transformed into a werewolf and is
slowly approaching Jordy who is still sitting in
the lotus position.
Jordy opens his eyes, but the eyes aren't his...
its the wolf's.
JORDY
Fight.
Jordy instantly transforms into the wolf.
And then all is a blur of fur and fangs.
INT. LAMASERY HALLWAY
Loki leans against the wall outside the chamber
door looking bored. A monk approaches.
MONK
Master Loki. The monks wonder if you can
remove the illusion cast upstairs. It's
disturbing their meditiation.
LOKI
Hmm. Right sorry. Hocus Pocus. A la
Peanut Butter Sandwiches. There you go,
all better.
MONK
Will you be joining us for evening
prayer?
LOKI
Depends on how long the pooches decide
to-
There's a loud thump and a yelp. The monk begins
to speak but Loki holds up his hand to silence
him. No more sound is heard from the room.
LOKI
Looks like they're done. I'll be up in a
few minutes.
MONK
Thank you Master Loki. May your inner
light continue to-
LOKI
Whatever. Keep it moving.
The monk nods and continues on his path. The door
opens and Jordy walks out. His robes are all
shredded and he is bleeding from several cuts.
LOKI
Look at you with the walking and the
breathing thing. You leave anything
alive in there?
Jordy looks at him with disgust.
JORDY
He's fine except for what you did to
him.
LOKI
He'll be back to his usual monosyllabic
self in the morning. What about you?
JORDY
I've embraced my inner wolf.
LOKI
It was a matter of mastering your
self-trust and self-control. Keep the sphere.
You'll need it to keep the wolf at bay
when you get back to the hellmouth.
JORDY
Thanks. Oh and one more thing...
LOKI
What's that?
Jordy slugs Loki in the mouth. Loki slumps against
the wall and massages his jaw.
JORDY
You ever do something like that to me
and Dan again... I'll kill you.
Jordy walks off. Loki spits out some blood from
his mouth and smiles a bloody grin.
LOKI
Kid's got spunk.
Loki starts to walk down the hallway in the
opposite direction from Jordy.
GO TO BLACK
LOKI(VO)
I hate spunk.
