A/N: Ok guys I’m very sorry but in this chapter I’ve changed only one thing. Angel doesn’t have his super strength anymore. I did that because I wouldn’t be able to even end the story lol. BACK TO THE BEGINNING – LAST CHAPTER!
We see Angel with Buffy at Buffy’s house and they’re sitting together on the couch watching T.V. They’re watching a scary movie called House of Death and Buffy jumps up and screams. She then buries her head in Angel’s shoulder and Angel lets go of the popcorn bowl and hugs Buffy. “It’s ok Buffy, it’s just a movie.” “Easy for you to say, you see vampires and demons everyday.”
“So do you. Do you want to take a break from the movie?” “Sure.” Angel turns the channel to the news section. A little fairy then pops up into Buffy’s face and she jumps. “AHH. Shoo shoo!” She tries the kill the fairy but Angel stops her. “Buffy, Buffy it’s ok its just a messenger from the powers that be.” “Oh, well do they have to send little fairies? They could at least send something less surprising like an envelope falling down into my hands.” “They like use magical creatures.”
Angel takes the note from the fairy and he tips the fairy with a PTB coin only used in the powers that be world. The fairy then bows and says while disappearing away, “The Powers The Be gives you this note.” Angel opens it and says, “The powers that be are giving us a warning. They say that their most powerful demon that was caged for billions of years has escaped, they want us to use the tranquilizer that came with this note and use it to tranquilize the demon and bring it to the demon carrier fairies.”
Angel then notices the tranquilizer and the coin, to call the demon carrier fairies, falling into his lap. Buffy then picks up the tranquilizer and says, “Angel you stay here, and I’ll go kill it by myself.” Buffy gets up and walks to the door with the tranquilizer in her hands. Angel gets up quickly and rushes to Buffy to stop her in her tracks. Angel gently grabs her arm and pulls her toward him so she’s facing him.
“I’ll go with you.” “Angel I don’t want you to get hurt.” “What do you mean?” “Angel don’t you remember, you don’t have your vampire abilities anymore.” “Oh yeah, well I can at least help you tranquilize this demon.” “Yeah but if the demon tries to kill you first then we have a problem. Even if you want to kill the demon you can’t. So just stay here until I get back.” Buffy opens the door and Angel grabs her arm again.
“I’m going with.” Buffy starts to open her mouth but then Angel interrupts her and says, “Whether you like it or not.” Buffy couldn’t argue with Angel no matter how hard she tries. We now see them at the cemetery walking together looking both ways and behind them. “Well guess we should check the other cemetery.”
Buffy says while stopping in her tracks and Angel faces her. “Yeah, maybe we should.” Buffy then lowers the tranquilizer and then notices the demon behind Angel. Buffy tries to warn Angel ASAP but before she could warn him the demon punches angel in the face sending him straight for a tome stone. Angel’s head hits the tome stone and get knocked out. Angel just lies there while Buffy fights. While Buffy fights Angel gets to dream… YAY! We close in on Angel and we see that he and Whistler are standing together looking down at Angel and Buffy’s future if Angel keeps on being human. Buffy gets killed by an Uber Vampire and Angel is lies there on the ground holding the dead Buffy and crying.
“So that’s what’s going to happen if this continues?” “Yep, it’s your choice, to see her die or to not see her die.” Angel has an angry expression on his face. Well of course he wants to be with her forever but he also doesn’t want Buffy to die. So he decides his final answer. “No, I don’t want her to die, not like that.”
“That’s your final choice?” Angel nods, “Ok then, if that’s your final answer then go back wake up and help your girlfriend out. Wake up, wake up wake up.” We see Angel lying on the ground and his eyes flutter open. The first thing he sees is Buffy staring in his eyes, Angel wakes up and sees the knocked out gigantic demon lying on the grass. “See I could’ve token it by my self. Angel are you ok?”
“Yeah I’m fine.” Buffy holds his hands and notice his heart isn’t beating anymore. “Angel your… dead, I mean you know dead as a vampire. How’d that happen?” “I guess I’m not meant to be human, not yet exactly.” “Well we can always wish.” Angel looks down at Buffy and smiles.
They then drag the demon to their house. Call for the Demon fairy movers and they shine into lots of lights and they disappear with a note dropping in front of Angel. Angel picks it up and reads it. It says, “You can always wish, But wishes don’t always come true. – Whistler.” Angel looks up and smiles.
