As Pinky and the Brain walked down the hall, the Brain abrubtly turned to Pinky. "Giles!", the Brain exclaimed. "Pinky, are you pondering what I'm pondering?", he quickly asked. "I think so Brain,", Pinky started his reply. "...but Richard Simmons AND a flying unicorn? Ooh, I don't think that's legal."
The Brain looked at Pinky disgustedly, then thought to stomp on his foot hard enough for Pinky to yelp and so the Brain could reach in and pull out Pinky's toungue. He didn't, but he sure thought about it. "If you had a mind, it would have been a terrible thing to waste.", the Brain began. "I have learned from my research on the Hellmouth that Giles is the clan name for a family that tends to produce adequate Watchers, natural born mentors for Vampire Slayers." "Is that any thing like a Weight Watchers?", Pinky asked. "Because I think those low fat brownies aren't keeping my 5 ounce figure." The Brain ignored him and continued his explanation.
"The family lives in England, if one of them is here then it must be that he is guiding a Slayer at the moment. And since the school year is over, one of the two girls that called for him just now must be the Slayer. I'm thinking the red head, you know they're supposed to have very strong tempers while the blonde one couldn't possibly be bright enough to slay vampires." Pinky shook his head at his freind. "You know it is the 90s, Brain. Anyone can be anything."
"Before naming all the things in the world that YOU can't be,", the Brain continued, "I will return to the point of this train of thought. We must hurry to siphon off the gravitons of the Hellmouth. As the Slayer, she will be inclined to stop us."
And with that, they travelled to the basement under the Library.

Giles judged the expression on the faces of the three youths. They had been exposed to things that would make their imaginations very... dangerous.
"So these mice were not only strange in appearance, such as Xander's account of a big head, but they spoke to you?", Giles summarized. He wiped his glasses' lenses with a pocket hankerchief and tried to hide his smile. "Auhm, what e-e-xactly did the mice say?"
"That they were going to siphon gravitons from the biological worm hole designated Hellmouth, and use them in a scheme to take over the world.", Willow promptly replied. "Auhm, gravitons?", the amused and now confused Watcher asked.
"They're what gravity is made out of.", Willow said. "Any abberation in the space time continuum, such as the Hellmouth, would be bound to produce an abundance as long as it was stable." "See,", Giles stated happily (in his mind) destroying the credibility of this halucination. "The Hellmouth is a magical entity, and not bound by physics." Willow countered, "It exists, so it has to be bound by the laws of physics." Giles replaced his glasses. "Magic.", he stated. "Physics.", Willow countered. And like a tennis match, the following minute was filled with strikes and returns-"MAGIC!", "PHYSICS!", "MAGIC!", "PHYSICS!"
"Can we settle for physical magic?", Buffy asked, attempting to end the arguement. "I know I could use some 'pysical magic'.", Xander answered. A glance from Buffy silenced him. Buffy continued, "What do you know about talking mice, Giles?"
Giles now put on an expression of concern, while his eyes still showed that he was amused to be facing such a question at all. "Actually, I have never known of such a phenomenon. There is a fairly large amount of the paranormal in the animal kingdom though...wait a minute..." "What is it Giles?", Xander prodded. "We don't want any more surprises after that little "Hero go gets the vampire to save the girl and then doesn't even get a dance" stuff around here anymore."
"What color were these mice?", Giles asked. All three teens replied carefully, "Gray." "Never mind then," Giles replied. "I must have been thinking of something else entirely."
