Part Six

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Willow's head felt tired, like she hadn't used her brain for centuries. She hurt all over, and didn't even want to think about moving. Her thoughts were disturbed by a noise to the left of her, it was the sound of someone's voice, someone's very famailiar voice. she remembered how she had been picking out things to wear when he came into her room. Willow had put up quiet a fight, but in the end he got the better of her by banging her head on her vanity table.

"Ohh." Willow moaned quietly before realizing that she shouldn't have done that due to the fact that the person in the room would probably hear her.

"Ahh good to see that you are recovering and awake my dear Alonwye."Ezekial said so close to her ear that Willow almost jumped.

Willow said to herself. Willow struggled her eyes to see where she was, Slowly so as not to cause any more pain Willow opened her eyes as her soft lashes flickered across her cheeks. What she saw both awed and horrified her. Willow was lying down on hard metal table, that looked somehting like a large alter, with her hands tied behind her back, and her ankles tied together making it impossible for her to run. In front of her were a set od stairs leading to a plateform that was lit with hundreds of black and crimson candles dripping hot wax onto the gold candelabras or the plush blood red carpet below.

As she took in her surroundings Ezekial began to speak to her.

"Do you like it? Our wedding will be held here in an hour, your friends should be arriving soon. Just in time for a little magic to be worked."

Willow gasped in sheer horror as she realized two of the most feared things. One, that she was about be married to her long time enemy Ezekial, and two, that her friends were coming to rescue her only to fall right into the hands of the enemy. She hadn't even noticed that Ezekial had left the room until he reentered locking the door securely behind him...and in his hands he held the most exquisite bridal gown that Willow had ever seen. The color however was not the tradtitonal white, it was a deep red crimson color that matched the candles. It had a long flowing train at least 5 feet long trimmed in black lace, the skirt was full and was gathered in tiny waves of ruffles. The wist line was tiny and tight, and the neckline was curved low, and trimmed with lace to match the train. The sleeves really weren't sleeves at all, but more of a strand of ribbon. Attached to the hanger that the dress was on was a small gold headpeice that had a small teardrop shaped onyx stone, it was to rest atop ones head so that the stone hung just upon the forehead, attatched to all of this was a veil layerd with black yards and yards of black lace. Ezekial had begun to speak again in an oddly chilling voice.

"I am going to untie you, so that you may get dressed, I will be right outside the door, there is no means of escape so do not try. You have 20 minutes to get dressed. And then my sweet Alonwye we shall be married." As he said those last words he smiled so evily that Willow had a million tiny shivers run through her. With that Ezekial walked out the door.

Willow looked around the room for a phone, a computer, anything, but to no avail. Willow snapped her fingers with delight as she remembered a simple spell to contact or get a meassage to friends who are far off. Now first I need paper, hmm. Willow walked over to a small wood table. It was beautiful with the wood giving off a polished finished shine, she opened the drawer and after much digging around managed to come up with some parchment. . She also found the other part of the spell, a pen, she picked up the pen and studied it, it was a black fountain pen, with a razor sharp tip. she decided as she sat down in a chair and started to write a warning message to Angel.

Angel,

Don't come, it's a trap, please, I beg of you, don't put yourself and the others in this danger.

Love,
Willow

Willow folded up the letter all the while concntrating on Angel's face and Angel reading the letter, then she walked over to a red candle and held the letter in the flame watching ti burn and still meditating upon Angel.

After she all of the letter was burned leaving only ashes for the remains Willow decided she had better get dressed, after all she didn't want that monster to come back in here and make her get dressed with him in the room. The very thought of undressing with him even in the same vicinity made her want to throw up.

10 minutes later

Willow surveyed herself in the mirror. The dress fit her figure nicely and hugged while accentuating all of her curves. Just as she was about to put on the veil, Ezekial barged in.

"Ever hear of knocking" she retorted.

Much to her enragement he just laughed, walking over to her and placing his hand on her cheek. Willow turned her head away form it but he caught her chin and forced her to look into his eyes "Well you are all dressed and ready, your friends should..."

"Get away from her" a voice from behind him said.

"Well, well, well, if it isn't Angel, so glad you could join us."

What took place next was pure chaos as Angel growled his game face on and lunged toward Ezekial only to bet up with a tiny electric bolt resembling that of lightining coming from the wizard's hands. It knocked Angel off balance but only for a moment, he growled at him before speaking, "Not playing by the rules as useual. This time you won't have her."

"Not playing by the rules? Alright Angelus we will play by the rules, no magic from me...but no magic form her either." he said as shoved Willow down stragicly so that her head hit the wall before she was knocked out cold. The last thing Willow remebered thinking beofer she went down was

Twenty minutes later the fight was over and Ezekial lay on the ground as Willow started to show signs of waking up. Angel sat panting heavily on the ground, exhausted from the fight, with Willow's head in his lap, her fiery red hair all askew. "Willow, baby, are you ok?"

"Ohhh, why does this always happen to me?" Angel simply kissed her forhead realived that she was ok. Giles, Buffy, Xander, and Cordelia all stood around in various places in the room. Giles was the first to speak fromthe small corner in the room that he was standing in. "Willow, you still need to ocmplete the spell, if you have the strength that is, but preferably before he wakes up, because..." before he could say another word Willow rolled her eyes and interuppted him "I know, I know Giles." With that she stood up took the amulet from the chain taht was on Ezekial and recited the incantation, as she started saying the words, the purple stone on her ring began to glow and a deep black mist that left a certain chill in the air arose from the once great wizard's body. With a sudden gust of air that came as soon as it left his soul was gathered into the ring. Willow sighed, glad that the ordeal was over before she realized that everyone was looking at her as if she had grown a second head and three extra arms. "W-What is it?" she asked fearful of the possibilties.

Buffy hopped down from her perch on the dressed fishing out a compact mirror and handing it to her.

"Ohmigosh, I-I'm glowing...wow, cool...Giles, why am I glowing?"

Giles cleared his throuat and replied in his haughty British accent "You are now the immrotal watcher of his soul now. It is your duty to protect that ring so that he may not escape and do the harm that he once caused. The glow is jsut part of the transistion period, it will leave in an hour or so."

"Oh" was all Willow could think of to say. After the group cleaned up the mess and put out the candles they each went thier own way after a few "see you at school Monday" goodbye's everyone except Willow and Angel left the room.

Angel looked at Willow, at the radiant glow surrounding her, filling her. She was even more beautiful < I didn't think that was possible >

"Willow, I have something to ask you" Willow turned around to face Angel glancing longingly at him, she so loved him. She loved everything about him.

"Yes?"

Angel thought as he got down on one knee.

"I have waited 100 yrs to ask you this, I had planned to ask you the night that this all got started. What I mean to say is Willow, I want to spend the rest of my life with you, you were my lover, my confidant, my friend. Will you marry me?" he asked as he pulled out a petite black satin box and opened its hinges to reveal 2 gold of the tiniest god band Willow had ever seen woven together to form one delicate gold ring.

Tears formed as Willow eyes as she realized her only dream in the world had just come true. "Y-yes, I love you Angel" she said as she threw her arms around him and kissed him with a fiery passion. When they broke away Angel carefully slid the ring onto her finger. Together they would embrace all that life threw at them.
