"Hey Will, what are you doing tonight?" Buffy asked. "I’ll find something to do." Buffy had a date tonight with Jason, the new guy in town. Xander even had a date. "I might go by the Bronze." "By yourself?" Buffy asked. "I just want to see who shows up ."
"No wonder you asked me and Xander if we were going to the Bronze. You’re meeting him there tonight aren’t you?" Buffy inquired. "How did you know?" "Well, Oz hasn’t been home for awhile and the full moon was last weekend … you know, you should really get over him and find someone new." "I’m working on it," Willow replied.

Willow sat nervously on the stool. It was almost eleven o’clock with no sign of Angel. * He’s not coming, if he was, he’d have been here by now. I don’t even know if he got the message. * There was no evidence that Angel was in her room last nigh t, but he doesn’t leave a big trail. * I wasted all this time and got all dressed up for nothing. * Willow looked down at her outfit. * Why did I get all dressed up? I’m leaving, this is crazy. *
Willow hurried out of the Bronze and started walking home. As she got farther and farther away, she realized that it was late and she was alone. * I haven’t done this since .. since I realized why I shouldn’t. * Every noise sent shivers down her spine. After a few more blocks, Willow realized that she wasn’t alone. Something was following her and gaining fast. Without looking back, she started running and didn’t stop. She quickly unlocked the front door to her house and ran upstairs to her room. Slamming her bedroom door shut, Willow turned to find Angel sitting on her bed out of breath and fuming.
"Why did you have to take off running like that?" Willow stood frozen. "I was scared."
"That was me behind you. By the time I got to the Bronze you were gone. Someone told me that you had just left, so I went after you. I was just getting close when you took off running."
"Sorry, but how was I supposed to know that it was you and not something looking for a snack."
Angel smiled, "no one waits till midnight; it’s more of a sunset snack." Willow gulped, "that’s comforting." Angel stood up, "So, what did you need to talk to me about?"
Willow smiled, "Someone has been sneaking into my bedroom late at night …" "Are you upset?" "How can I be upset, when they leave me flowers and do my homework? But, I have to wonder, why? I mean the idea that someone is watching me sleep gives me the c reeps. How would you like it if I stayed with you all day and watched you sleep?"
"I’d like it," Angel mumbled. "Huh?" Willow asked.
"So, what is Giles up to these days? … * Change the subject * I hear that Xander had a date. Where did they end up going, to the movies or bowling?"
Willow stood there dumbfounded. She didn’t know what had just happened. Once her brain had processed everything she said, "How did you know it was either bowling or the movies?"
"I heard you and Buffy talking last night. Xander couldn’t decide, so he asked you two to help." "You were here last night?" "Outside the window," Angel answered.
She turned and looked at him. "You were watching us through the window, how long were you there? Where you still there when I got ready for bed?" Willow felt her face turn red, and turned away from him, "Don’t watch me through the window. If you want t o talk to me, call me or knock on the door." Willow turned to face him, but he was already gone.

"Angel’s back." Buffy said. Willow almost dropped the phone, "How do you know? I mean did you talk to him?" "No, someone said they saw him at the Bronze, you didn’t see him there did you?" "I didn’t see anyone there, just the usuals, so I went home ear ly … How was your date?"
"Fine, but I was thinking, I really need a new outfit … wanna come?" Buffy asked. "Ooh, shopping spree … "

"I can’t believe we spent all day at the mall," Willow said. "I can’t believe you bought that skirt!" Buffy joked. "Do you think that I should take it back?" Will asked nervously. "Absolutely not, it looks hot!"
Willow wondered why she had decided to buy the skirt that barely went to the middle of her thighs. * I’ll never wear it! * Just then, Willow’s mom called up the stairs, "Willow, you have a visitor!" "Be right down mom," Willow chimed.
She quickly ran down the stairs with Buffy close behind. When she reached the bottom of the stairs, she turned to see Angel sitting on the couch between her parents with a bouquet of flowers. Before she could even spear, she heard Buffy turn the corner . Buffy stood frozen.
Mrs. Rosenberg broke the silence and asked, "Willow are you going to introduce us to this nice young man?"
