The look on everyone's face was the same...almost. The girls were happy and surprised. Giles looked surprised and like he would pass out. And Xander looked like he would kill Angel,"What did you do to her? You've never heard of a condom?"Xander spat at Angel.
"Well, we weren't really worried about that."Angel was looking at his feet.
"Xander, please calm down. Angel, what are you prepared to do? Do you bring in money steadily? Are you even fit to father this child?"
"I'm prepared to do anything for our baby, I bring in enough money and yes I'm fit."
"Cause you've been human for what, three weeks?" Xander was pissed and had no problem showing it.

Back in Giles' Room

"When's the shower?"Was the only thing Willow could say. Her and Buffy started jumping up and down then Anya joined.
"So, you guys are okay with it. Gee, you handled it better than I did."
"Well, how did you react to your surprising yet great news?"Anya asked her.
"I fainted."
"Oh. Well ,that's understandable."
"Let's go see how the guys are taking the news."Willow helped Buffy out of the room and into the living room.
"You don't even have a job! How can you take care of you, Buffy, and that baby?"Xander shouted at Angel.
"Because I can get a job!"
"What are you gonna tell them for your birthday? Oh I was born in the 1700's so that makes me somewhere around two-hundred years old!"
Angel looked like he was ready to strangle Xander so Buffy ran in between the two,"This isn't all his fault, Xander. I don't have a job eiter."
"I don't care about that. You're the one he violated!"
"He didn't violate me! I'm pregnate yes but it isn't the end of the world. We can get through this."
"With what? Ask people you save to pay you?"
"That would be very profitable."Anya whispered to Willow.
"That's enough!"Giles shouted and everyone got quiet. Buffy was getting dizzy and Angel helped her sit down,"Buffy and Angel deserve some time to themselves. Think about it."
"I think we should go see my mom."Buffy said to them,"We'll come by a little later."The couple walked out of the apartment.

"You're what?!?"Joyce shouted.
"Mom, calm down. It'll be okay."
"Buffy! You're pregnate! You're nineteen, and haven't even finished your first year of college! Don't tell me to calm down! Besides, how do you know it's Angel's? I thought vampires couldn't have children?"
"I told you,"Buffy sighed,"he's human now. We're going to take care of this baby with or without you. Right now, we don't have all that much money but he is bringing in enough for now. And I can get a job. We have a place to live and, well, that's about it."
"Ms. Summers, I understand your anger. Buffy is a young girl and, I'm an old man compared to her, and any other living person today. But I love Buffy, and I can take care of her, and our child."
"Okay. Buffy, go upstairs and lie down, on your back. Angel stay with me, I need to speak with you."
"Mom, I--"
"Go!"Joyce said firmly. Buffy did as she was told and left the room,"Angel, what is it that you do?"
"I'm a, dective, of the supernatural."Angel admitted.
Saying it like that sounded stupid.
"Do you plan on bringing Buffy into this. I'm sure fighting is involved in this. She can't fight in her condition."
"I know. And I won't bring her into it. I'm not her babysitter though. She dosen't need a babysitter, and I'm sure she won't want to patrol, for the baby's sake."
"But if she does, you have to explain why she can't."
"And I understand that."
"Angel, I think you should go back to L.A. alone. Get some more money, and then come back. I'll take care of Buffy."
"No. That's what I won't do. I'm not leaving her. I can have Cordelia send me the money we have and I'll take care of Buffy."
"You'll need a place to stay."
"We can't stay here?"
"You think you can take care of her. Take care of her somewhere else."
