Kate, Groo and Kevin are sitting watching a the end of a movie, Kate gets up:
Kate: Right I’m going to bed.
Groo: Why?, we haven’t watched all the movie.
Kate: It is kind of lame.
Kevin: Lord of the rings isn’t lame.
Groo: I do like the war parts.
Kevin: It’s the best film on middle earth.
Kate: We have been watching way to much of this.
She turns it off.
Kevin & Groo: Hay!
Kate: Look we need to talk about what we’re going to do, because none of us have jobs, we all live here and there’s a hell of a lot of evil out there.
Kevin: I know, how about our own business!
Groo: Oh yeah, like the famous Angel Investigations.
Kevin: The what ?
Kate: Long story, too long to be told, but it’s a good idea.
Groo: We don’t even have to have a building, we could use this apartment.
Kate: What!
Kevin: Oh yes, there’s lots of room, Groo can sleep in the fold-down sofa in my room, we could use the spare room as an office and the space behind the sofa can be the waiting area.
Kate: Ok, we will start on it in the morning, it’s too late now so goodnight.
Kevin & Groo: Night.
Kate walks into her room and closes the door.
Kevin and Groo walk into there room and go to bed.

Act 1
It’s the morning, Kate is dressed and sat in the living room holding a bit of paper, waiting for Groo and Kevin to get up. A few minuets later Kevin walk’s out of his room.
Kate: Thank god I thought you were going to sleep the day away.
Kevin: Morning to you too.
Kate: Sorry but we have to get going with this. Where’s Groo ?
Kevin: Just getting up.
Groo: I’m here.
In walks Groo looking to sleepy to stand.
Kate: Good your both here.
Kevin: What’s that your holding.
Kate: Well I’m about to tell you.
Kevin: Sorry.
Kate: Right, first of all we are going to put all our cash together, that should be enough to cover all of this.
Groo: All of what ?
Kate: Well for the spare room there needs to be book shelves, a desk, 3 chairs, a phone and a computer to make it an office.
Kevin: Have you planned all this.
Kate ignores him.
Kate: And in here we’ll need the same, but with a few more chairs, oh and a coffee table.
Groo: That sounds good.
Kate: I know I spent all night planning it so it should be good.
Kevin: So what do we do first.
Kate: Well I suggest you two get dressed.
Kevin: I Know that, I mean after.
Kate: Well Groo, I need you to go down to the computer store and by a computer, doesn’t matter how good it is, just get the cheapest.
She turns to Kevin.
Kate: Kev, I need you to go to the nearest book shop, which I think is Looms Book Store and get books on the supernatural, demons, vampires what ever you can.
Kevin: Why ?
Kate: well we’re going to need as much resources as possible if we come up against anything unnatural.
Kevin: I guess, so books on demons, check.
Groo: What about you ?
Kate: I’m going to get the chairs and desks and possibly move the rooms around.
Groo and Kevin walk off to get dressed.
Kate: This will be working in no time.

Three hours later Kate has finished moving the apartment around, half the living room is now a waiting area and the spare room looks like an office, Groo has finished putting the computer together in the office and has put it on the desk, he is now putting up the book shelves.
Groo: Katie could I have some help with this ?
Kate walks in and holds the shelf that’s about to fall.
Groo: Thank you.
She smiles.
Kate: It’s fine.
Groo: I just need to knock some nails into this and I’ll be done.
He picks up the hammer and is about to knock the nail into the wall when he sees Kate smile at him some more.
Groo: What is it ?
Kate: Nothing
She keeps looking at him and they move closer.
There’s a moment of silence and they lean in about to kiss until in bursts Kevin through the front door.
Kevin: I’m back.
The shelf Kate was holding falls down.
Her and Groo laugh.
Kate: We’re in here.
He comes in holding two boxes full of books.
Kevin: I think the woman who was selling me these thought I was crazy.
Kate: Well would you if someone walked in here asking about demons.
Kevin: Well there going too I hope, I mean we are in the business now.
Groo: and its going well.
Kevin: As I can see, nice work with the waiting area by the way.
Kate: Thank you, this is a new beginning for all of us and everyone who needs our help!

Act 2

A few hours later Kate is sitting in the new office with Kevin and Groo and waiting for a knock at the door from there first client.
Kate: Kevin are you sure you gave the man the right number.
Kevin: Yes he’s done everything for us, he’s made posters, he’s put up a website about us and has spread our number around.
Kate: And that cost us how much ?
Kevin: Oh just a couple of hundred.
Groo: Is that a lot.
Kate: Yes it’s a lot who is this guy ?
Kevin: I don’t know, but I had to make up a name on the spot.
Kate: which was ?
Kevin: . . . . . . . . Lockley Inquiries
Kate: Oh good it’s not something childish.
Kevin: what you thought it was going to be. . . . Thanks a lot.
Groo: Well I like it.
Kate: It doesn’t matter, we’ll stick with it.
Groo: Why is no one coming ?
Kate: Well Sacramento isn’t as populated with demons as LA is, believe me I know.
Groo: Well maybe I should go out and patrol the city.
Kate: I’ll come too, Kevin you stay encase anyone comes.
Kevin: Yeah ok, I’ll stay in the office.

The camera moves through the city and picks up on Kate and Groo walking down the street.
Kate: So we really have talked about your past have we.
Groo: No we have not.
Kate: Ok, I’ll ask and you tell. Where were you born ?
Groo: I was lifed in a dimension called Pylea.
Kate: Ok, so Pylea, then what happened ?
Groo: As a got older I was banished from my home land, cast out because of my human looks, as time went on I killed demons, drokens, flame beasts and then one day was called to a land to mate with the most beautiful woman I had ever met, she was a princess, but not the same evil ones we had there, she was different, more kind, and she had friends, which is how I met Angel.
Kate: What happened then.
Groo: They had to go, they had destroyed the evil power that was there and I was left there in charge. Just under a year later the republic had a rebellion and I decided to give up my thrown and come to LA to see my Princess Cordy again.
Kate: Oh so the Princess is Cordelia Chase.
Groo: Yes, she works with Angel, along with good people, Gunn, Fred and Lorne.
Kate: What about Wesley ?
Groo: Who?
Kate: Wesley-Windom Price.
Groo: I know him, but him and Angel had a disagreement and he doesn’t work with them anymore, well as far as I know he doesn’t.
Kate: So what then, you worked for them.
Groo: For a time yes, but as I grew closer to my princess, she was getting closer to Angel, then I realised that they were made for each other. So I left and came here.
Kate: So you haven’t seen them since.
Groo: No I have not.
Kate: So you. . . . . . . . . . .
Right that second a very fast breeze went by them, they looked up to see a large Brown demon, it was in human shape and about 7ft, Kate looked closer at it, it had a symbol compressed on its chest, the symbol was of three swirly lines.
Groo: Looks like we got a case.
They both fun over to it while cars and people swerve out of the way.
Kate: Hay you.
The demon looks round with its dark black eyes but doesn’t say anything.
Groo: So we attack ?
Kate: Lets.
They both dive at it but before they do the demon razes its arm to the sky and between all the houses, shops and skyscrapers come a huge bulk of wind and slams into Groo and Kate. They are sent flying down the street. Groo hits into a lamppost and falls to the floor, Kate lands on the bonnet of a car.
They both lie there, knocked out while the rest of the people scream and run away.

Act 3
We see Kevin sitting in the office looking board and tired, the next minute the door bell goes and Kevin goes to open the door. Standing there is a pizza delivery man holding a box of pizza.
Pizza man: That’ll be $6 please.
Kevin hands over the money.
Kevin: There you go.
Man: Thank you.
Kevin shuts the door and walks back into the office with the pizza.

Back in the city Kate comes round and gets up.
She looks around then walks over to Groo.
Kate: Groo, get up!
Groo wakes up and quickly stands up and looks around to see an empty street.
Groo: Where is that thing, how long have we been out ?
Kate: Well my guess is we’ve been out for at least half-an-hour, looks like people have ran for there lives.
Groo: we need to track it.
Kate: How ?
Groo: Follow the screams.

Back at the apartment Kevin has finished his pizza and is sitting in the chair behind the desk, the phone rings and he picks it up.
Kevin: Lockley Inquiries how can I help you ?
Woman’s voice: Kevin Dear its Gem.
Kevin: Oh Gem hi, what’s up ?
Gem: Well I don’t want to be pushy but your appointment was an hour ago.
Kevin: Oh sorry, I’ve been really busy, I’ll be right over.
Gem: See you in a bit then!
Kevin: Bye.
He puts and phone down, leaves a note on the desk saying he’s gone to see Gem and then walks out, grabbing his coat and closing the door.

Back in the city Groo and Kate come to North Point Mall.
Kate: I’m guessing it’s in here.
Groo: Lets go.
They run into the mall and enter a big open space, everything is broken and Destroyed. People lie unconscious or dead in random places.
Kate: We should of stopped this.
Groo: We’ll get a chance now.
They both turn around to see the demon staring at them from the level above.

Meanwhile Kevin is entering the club and goes through the door into Gems back room.
Kevin: Hello?
Gem comes from behind a long see-through rag tied from the sealing.
Gem: Hello my angel, you look strong today.
Kevin: I do, well I have been practising a lot.
Gem: Good for you, most people I teach don’t bother, its like homework, they don’t do it. (she laughs)
Kevin: So what’s today ?
Gem: well the next two weeks we will be continuing levitation and then we will be moving onto contacting the dead and calling on spirits!
Kevin’s eyes widen.
Kevin: I new magic was for me!
Gem: Right, lets start with something small, what have you been practising with at home ?
Kevin: Cups, Pencils, Pens, paper, stuff like that.
Gem: Very good, well then today we’re going to move on to bigger things, starting with that sofa.
She points to the sofa across the room.
Kevin: Ok, here goes nothing . . . . . .
He looks at the sofa and razes his hand, the sofa shakes but doesn’t move.
Kevin: I can’t do it.
Gem: Yes you can, and you will.
Gem stops, turns around and goes behind the long rag once more.
Kevin: What’s wrong ?
She doesn’t answer and he walk behind the rag to see what’s happening.
Gem has her hands on a crystal ball. The ball is glowing white.
Gem: I see them, I see your friends, there in trouble.
Kevin: How ?, where are they ?
Gem: A mall, north point.
Kevin runs out!

Epilogue (Conclusion)
At the mall the demon flips down from the level above and stands 3 metres away from Kate and Groo.
Kate: What do you want ?
Demon: I am one of four and want nothing but to end life of the human race, that is and always will be my purpose.
Groo: No it shall not.
Groo runs at the demon, he does a flying kick across its face and turns around to punch it, but the demon grabs his arm and then Groo’s throat. Kate comes up behind it and smacks it across the back with a fire extinguisher. It drops Groo and hits Kate to the floor then slides her into a pillar.
Groo tries getting up but the demon turns around and kicks him in the chest flipping him into the air.
The demon turns to leave when Kate gets back up along with Groo:
Demon: You can’t stop me!
Kate and Groo run at him once more, the demon take a few steps back and looks out of the sunroof to the sky, in the middle of the mall a tornado begins to emerge, the demon smiles and Kate and Groo are pulled in to the whirlwind.
They are span around while the demon watches, the next second Kevin bursts in through the double doors of the mall, he sees them in the tornado, and then looks at the demon:
Kevin: Let them go!
The demon stops the whirlwind and they are sent flying across the room into the wall.
Groo helps up Kate and they lay against the wall, barely able to walk.
Kevin looks at the injured Groo and Kate then looks back at the demon, it smiles at him but Kevin isn’t happy, he turns to a pillar and stares at it, it shakes and then a few seconds later a huge piece of it rips apart, then Kevin’s eyes move toward the demon and the piece of the pillar slams into the demon and crushes it against the wall.
Kevin looks at Kate and smiles, she smiles back in a thank you way.

Back at the apartment Kate, Groo and Kevin are on the sofa with hot chocolates talking to each other.
Kate: You were incredible.
Kevin: thank you, and I know, I didn’t think I could do it till that last second.
Groo: You crushed him good, your very powerful when you put you mind to it my friend.
Kevin: I must tell Gem, she’ll be impressed.
Kate: I’m sure she will.
Kevin: Don’t go there Kate, I have no chance with someone as hot as that.
Groo: Plus she is like 400 years old.
Kevin: forget about the hot thing then.
Kate: That demon was tough, I mean really tough.
Groo: I think we need to do some research on him.
Kevin: Why, what happened to ‘You crushed him good’.
Kate: Well the demon did say he was one of four.
Groo: We also know his power is though Air.
Kevin: Well lets begin, we have our new books to look at.
Kate: And I’ll look on the net, there must be some demon website to look at.
Groo: I have been thinking, do you think we might need more staff.
Kate: Why do you say that ?
Groo: Well we need help with research, tracking, fighting and even medical.
Kevin: Not a bad idea but how many were you thinking because we will have to pay them.
Groo: 1 or 2, and I’ve put up flyers around the city that we’re looking for staff.
Kate: What, when ?
Groo: The other day, but don’t worry, a few people are coming tomorrow for an audition.
Kevin: Well we do need helpers, but only two, no more that that, what time are they coming ?
Groo: I said any when between 10am and 4pm.
Kate: Well this could be fun, but we’re choosing people who will not run away from demons and hopefully have training in any of the areas Groo suggested.
Kevin: Good, lets get started anyway.
They walk into the office and close the door, the camera slowly move round to the apartment window and we see a strong breeze go past.
This may leave us thinking: ITS NOT OVER YET!
