At night.
The camera moves through the city of Sacramento where in the background there are sounds of police cars and car horns, the camera slows down settling down in a long dark ally. A dark figure is seen running through the ally with a gun in his right hand and another figure behind also holding a gun, the first figure comes to a dead end but tries to clime over the wall in front. The second figure catches up with first:
Woman’s voice: Hold it!
The camera turns around on a tall woman, with blond hair, wearing a pair of jeans and a zipped up black jacket, it’s Kate Lockley!
Man’s voice: Ok, ok, you got me lady
The man has a pale white face with dark blond hair and wearing a tuxedo.
Kate: Your under arrest for the theft of the money from the bank of Sacramento.
Man: Yeah, Yeah lady, heard it all before.

Act 1
At night still.
Back at the Police Station.
Kate is in her office looking through some files, there’s a knock at her door:
Kate: Come in.
In steps officer Jackson:
Jackson: hi Kate, he’s ready for you.
Kate: thanks Carle, I’ll be there in a few minutes.
5 minutes later Kate walks into a small room with no windows and one two-way mirror and a table with two chairs. Sat in one of the chairs is the man she captured in the ally. Kate sat down in the other chair and looked at him:
Kate: so, lets start with something simple, what’s your full name ?
Man: Alexander Paterson
Kate: good, now age ?
Alex: are you trying to date me or something ?
Kate: just answer the question
Alex: 37
Kate: now for the fun questions, where’s the money from the bank ?
Alex: my little secret doll!
Kate: All I know so far is that if you call me ’doll’ again we’re gunna have a bigger problem then we already do.
Alex: I lost my job two months ago, and I was little low for cash so……
Kate: where did you work ?
Alex: A business in LA called Wolfram and heart, you heard of it ?
Kate: yeah, it’s familiar, why did you loose your job ?
Alex: The business fell to pieces, literally.
Kate: I have a pretty good idea how that happened but anyway, so you were a little low on cash and then what ?
Alex: Come on lady, you can guess that.
Kate: I’ve been working here for three years, it doesn’t mean I can mind read!
Alex: I went and stole some money from the bank.
Kate: Some! Looking at this (she picks up a bit of paper off the table) you took $5’835 from them.
Alex: a friend is keeping it safe for me.
Kate: and here comes the bonus question, where’s your friend ?
Alex: It’s a small building up in north tower park.
Kate gets up and leaves the room.
Alex shout out to her: I’ll warn you, he doesn’t like visitors much.

Act 2
At night still
Kate is walking along a woodland path through North Tower Park, she stops and looks around and sees a small grey building with one door and a couple of windows.
She walks up to the door and knocks it, the door opens and a woman is standing there, quite old, grey hair and a long flower patterned dress:
Woman: Can I help you dear.
Kate: Yes, I’m officer Lockley, I’m looking for a man who’s good friends with Alexander Paterson.
Woman: My son knows him yes, please come in.
Kate: Thank you.
Kate walks into a small hallway with two doors on either side and one right at the end of the hall:
Woman: he’s right down there. (she points down the hall to last door)
Kate: ok, thanks.
She walks down and knocks on the door:
Mans voice: Come in!
Kate opens the door and steps in, straight in front of her there’s a desk, behind that there's a chair turned the other way round. On the left there’s a safe built into the wall and on the right is a giant fish tank:
Kate: Hello?
The chair turns around and a white skinned demon with green eyes wearing a posh suit is sitting there:
Demon: Hi
Kate: you’re a demon.
Demon: I have been all my life.
Kate: you know Alexander Paterson
Demon: Yes, good friend, gives me people to……
Kate: to what ?
Demon: was there something you wanted ?
Kate: yes, you have some money of his right ?
Demon: I do, why do you ask ?
Kate: I’m going to need to take it, it’s stolen money.
Demon: It’s my money fair and square.
Kate: I don’t want to arrest you but…..
Demon: are you threatening me officer.
Kate: I should….
Demon: go. But you just got here.
The demon stands up and walks over to her. Kate pulls out her gun aiming it at his chest.
Kate: Get back
Demon: No! the thing is, you have come right to me, and I never tune away a meal.
The demon runs at her, she lifts her gun and fires twice at his chest.
He falls to the ground and Kate walks around the room searching for the money, then she remembers the safe. She walks over to it and shoots the lock, then she opens it and takes out a case. She opens it out and there’s the money, she closes it up and walks to the door:
A voice from behind her: leaving so soon.

Act 3
Kate turns around to see the demon standing up again:
Kate: your dead!
Demon: Take a look at me, I’m a demon, guns really don’t affect me that much. Oh and by the way, I’m gunna need that money back.
Kate runs out the door and down the hall, the demon follows her.
Kate opens the front door and runs out, the demon follows then leaps into the air, landing on her back, knocking her across the ground, she kicks him off and they stand up:
Demon: Look, just give me the money and I wont kill you….
Kate looks blank.
Demon: Ok, that’s a lie but still, hand it over doll.
Kate looks angry and steps forward and hits him to the floor:
Kate: I hate when people call me ’doll’.
The demon curls his leg round and trips her up, knocking her to the ground.
He leans over her and puts his hands around her neck:
Demon: I think I’ll kill you now then save you for later.
The demon squeezes harder, putting more pressure on her neck. The next moment Kate takes out her gun from her left pocket and puts it to his head:
Kate: you…..wont………..be……..saving….anything…now (she says this with the demon still strangling her)
Kate pulls the trigger twice and the demons grip loosens and he lay dead next to her, with two small pullet wounds in his head.

About an hour later Kate is back in her office with the case of money next to her.
She shuts down her Computer and walks out of her office with the case, she goes down the corridor and turns lefts into a room.
Sitting at the desk is the desk sergeant looking through some files:
Kate: Hello sir
Desk Sergeant: Hello there Kate
Kate: Here’s there stolen money, it was being kept by a guy at….
DS: I know who Kate.
Kate: you do?
DS: yes, we went and checked the place you were sent too, we found a body.
Kate: you did, it was outside wasn’t it.
DS: you killed a man Kate.
Kate: No, I didn’t, it was a….
DS: Demon, I spoke with your old boss yesterday and he said you have this wild obsession with the supernatural.
Kate: The thing attacked me Dugg, what was I meant to do, sit back and let it happen.
DS: It was human Kate for crying out loud.
Kate: It wasn’t Dugg, it was a white demon, I know it sounds crazy but I wouldn’t of just shot something if I didn’t have a good reason too.
DS: so maybe he did attack you, you could of knocked it unconscious of something, but no you had to kill it.
Kate: I know what I fought, I know what I saw.
DS: That maybe, but it doesn’t convince me.
Kate: Maybe the demon has some special power to make itself look like a man when it dies.
DS: Forget it Kate, just hand over the money.
Kate give him the money, and she turns and walks to the door.
DS: You have one more chance working here Kate, you’re a good officer, but unless you forget all this crap, this is your last warning.
Kate just walks out, a tear falls down her cheek.

Epilogue (conclusion)
Afternoon, raining and quite cloudy.
Kate comes out of the police station holding her hand bag and car keys. She’s still crying and gets into her car and drives home.
She opens her front door to her apartment and goes in, she dumps her bag and keys on the side table beside the door and goes to have a shower.
20 minutes later she walks back in to her sitting room wearing a dressing gown, someone knocks at the door, she goes over and opens it.
Kate eyes widen.
Mans voice: Hi Sis! Long time no see.
