A/N: To clarify, I played a bit w/the original episode. As faith_slayer89 pointed out, seventeen-year old Cordy would've known about vampires, demons, and the forces of darkness. She was apparently a sophomore, but to avoid confusion here, I'm operating on the theory that all of the Scoobies were seventeen at the same time as Buffy. So, think mid-season two/BtVS. We know what almost everyone else is like. Also, my re-write started a little more than half way through Act One. Lorne has set up everything before the spell, but Gunn and Wesley haven't yet had their macho conflict over Fred. 's coming. Thanks for reviews from both faith_slayer89 , and Psyche2.
