THE GEPETOBOY---
It’s nighttime in L.A and most of the fang gang is in Angel’s office trying to think of a plan or someone they can hurt for information. Buffy is starting to think of the good old days when she always used to beat up Willy for information. Wesley, Fred and Gunn are all in Angel’s office while Buffy sits in Angel’s big chair and she then picks up Angel and she sets him on her lap. Buffy then wraps her arms around Angel and she starts to gently lean on Angel’s back and sighs. “I’m so tired… are you sure I can’t close my eyes for just like 1 second?” “Buffy, if this thing attacks us right now then were all goners. Plus I thought we could watch a movie together tonight.”
We see Buffy smiling and then we see Gunn rolling his eyes and then he raises his voice and says, “Guys we really need to be working on this right now. Now is not the time for affectionate feelings, now is the time to find every inch of sources we can find and try to look for ways on how to kill these demons that have been clumsy and very stupid and why do I think that I’m not the only one who will actually look for these kinds of sources?” Wesley then looks up at Gunn and says, “Gunn were doing the best we can to figure out this predicament but it’s kind of hard with only three people looking in books or on the computer.”
He looks at Angel and Buffy and Buffy then looks up and says, “Oh right, sorry about that, I’ll help right away.” Buffy then picks up Angel and sets him on the ground. Angel then looks at all the books on demons and creatures and then he picks a book out that may help and he starts to set it on the ground near where Buffy’s reading another book. Angel then uses his soft little hands to turn the pages.
After 1 and a half hours searching…
Gunn then writes something down and then looks at the book and says, “Found something.” Everyone looks up at Gunn and Gunn then turns around with the book in his hands and says, “It says here that a long time ago, in 1954 there was a small boy who was accused of being a puppeteer.” Buffy then speaks up and says, “So, he was accused of liking puppets and controlling them to make a little play, what has that got to do with this?”
“The thing is it wasn’t just normal puppet playing it was demonic puppet playing. After being accused he was sent to a private court that only takes on serious cases. Seems like the private court thought this one was a real go-getter. The private court then talked to the accuser and looked at his evidence, soon the jerry came to an answer and they said that he was guilty of using demonic puppet playing. He was sentenced to jail for life, he died a long time ago; oh here’s the date. It says that he died 1730 and he was born in 1715… wow he was only fifteen years old.”
Buffy looked up at Gunn from the couch in Angel’s office and then looked at Angel whom was on the floor looking like he committed a murder. “Angel are you ok?” Buffy looked at Angel and he spoke up, “Gunn, does it say anything about the accuser, who was he or at least a picture?” “Nope” Buffy then said, “Angel spill the beans, do you know something about this accuser or not?” “I do know something about the accuser because… I was the accuser.”
Buffy’s eyes widened a little and she was speechless, we see Angel get up on his feet and he says, “I guess I forgot about the whole thing. When I was still a human and not a vampire I saw this little boy using demonic activity as a puppet-playing tool. I then gathered all the evidence that I needed and I reported him with a full file of evidence and pictures. When I was turned into a vampire I guess my memory of that happening was lost.” Angel turned around to see everyone but Buffy because he didn’t want to see her face because he knew that she wouldn’t look at him.
He then spoke out again and said, “His parents were so upset at me to sending their little boy to jail for life that I never saw them again. His parents sent a note to me one day saying that one day I’ll pay for what I did and they made it come true.
About 15 years after their son died they used dark magic to bring him back to life as a zombie but the dark magic didn’t work until now. It takes a lot of time for a person to rise from the grave especially when they didn’t know much about using dark magic. His parents died the same day they used the dark magic because they were seen using the dark magic on his grave. Since he’s been finally coming out from his coffin his puppeteer skills have decreased a lot. So now I guess he’s back to kill me for what I did to him long ago.”
Buffy then picked up Angel without a warning and Angel stared at Buffy after she set him down on her lap and she said, “Don’t worry, I’m not going to let him kill you. Even if he tries to, I’ll kick him in the nuts.” Angel smiled at Buffy. Gunn then came out with a big map of LA so they can find out a way where Gepetoboy lives so they can take him down. We see a boy who looks 21 years old whom is looking and Angel with a grin on his face. He has black hair and a band on his head with tiger claw scars on his left cheek.
Angel looked around and then looked at the window where we saw where the boy was but didn’t find anything, no trace of the boy was to be seen but Angel could smell his scent a mile away and then thought, ‘Why are you here, I thought you died a long time ago. I know you Alex, you’ll show up eventually.’ Buffy looked down at Angel whom is looking at the window behind him. Buffy then asks Angel, “Everything okay?” Angel turned around and looked up at Buffy with a smile and said, “Everything is just peachy.”
Buffy smiled and she turned towards the map and then we see angel looking at the window again and he whispers with a angry face on, “Just peachy…”
