A/N: I’m really sorry that it’s been so long since I last updated. SO much has been happening…anyway, R&R please!
Pain shot through her entire body as she opened her eyes to stare up at nothing. She looked around and saw only darkness. She rolled over and pushed herself up so that she was standing, then started to walk. After a long time of walking, she finally realized that she had no where to go.

“What happened?” Angel asked the solemn Scoobies who were standing in the dingy hospital waiting room. His voice cracked and a single tear ran down his cheek.
“There….was an accident.” Willow started, her own eyes puffy from crying. “A car caved in on her. She’s…well, she’s in a coma. They don’t know if she’ll wake up.”
“No. This can’t happen! It’s cant!” He yelled back. Then he whispered, “It’s…Buffy.”

Buffy stared at the emptiness surrounding her. She looked down, and suddenly she was looking at the scene unfolding at the hospital.

Angel grabbed a passing doctor by the collar and pulled him over to them. “WHY?!?!?” He yelled.
A few of the nurses ran over to him and tried to pull him off the poor doctor, but Angel didn’t let go.
“WHY?!?!?” He yelled again.
One of the nurses grabbed his arm, and in one quick move Angel flung him across the room, where he landed in a large pile of bandages and unused needles. Angel, after he had hurt several other people in the waiting room, stormed out into the cold night sky.

“Angel,” Buffy cried. “Don’t. Oh please don’t.”
Suddenly, a voice rang out from the darkness enclosing her. “You have a choice. Choose anything you want.”
“What?” Buffy asked, not understanding what the voice was saying. “What do mean, a choice?”
“You have done the world a great service. You have saved mankind many times. And because of this you get a second chance to relive your life in any way you choose. After you see what could have happened, you will get to decide whether or not you want that. You can stay there, or be revived in your own world, as you were before the accident. Now choose.”
“Now?” Buffy asked, trying to come up with a, “choice.”
“I…wish…um…I wish…..I never came to Sunnydale.”
“Are you sure?” The voice asked her demandingly.
“Yes. If I never came to Sunnydale, I would have never met Angel. He would have never broken my heart.” She said sadly.
“Here is your second chance.” The voice boomed, right before she felt herself being lifted up and flung through a portal.
