Apologizing for Dummies
~Third Period~
We see Angel walking in his 3rd period class; he always hated this class because he was assigned a seat that would be his seat for the rest of his high school year. Angel always sat next to or near Buffy in his classes with her. Angel walked in and he sees Buffy talking to Willow and Xander.
Angel places his backpack on the side of his desk and then he takes a seat. The teacher starts to talk about how love can be heartbreaking. She starts to ask for volunteers. The teacher didn’t see any hands raised so she picks the only two people she thought would be a good couple forever. “Angel, Buffy please come up and demonstrate a life of a couple.” Angel and Buffy both look at each other and they both get up and stand right in front of the class.
“Now, students here we have perfectly normal people that don’t know that they could be a good couple. Now can anyone tell me what could help him or her meet and be a better couple in the future, maybe perhaps some suggestions on how to get along with each other?” This guy raised his hand and said, “ Maybe they could not argue a lot and just agree with the other person. Also I’d like to add if one of them cheats on one another they could both just make up right? I mean they could just try to not believe on what happened and they could live happily ever after, right?”
We can see that Buffy and Angel glance at each other for a while, thinking about what the kid said. The teacher walks behind her desk and says, “ it is possible that it could happen when a boy cheats on a girl that they could make up but I think it’s a possibility that they make up is a 2 out of a million. Most people don’t make up with that person who cheated on the person because anger is love’s enemy. Anger can always lead to breaking up. Ok now moving on, any other people who would like to make an opinion?”
Angel suddenly raises his hand and asks, “ Uhhh is it possible that if a boy cheated on a girl but the boy didn’t want to cheat on her. What I mean is that what if a girl suddenly kissed this boy who the girl knew had a girlfriend but she just wanted the boy and the girl to break up. So the girl kissed the boy and the boy saw his girlfriend watch them kiss but the boy tried to explain to the girl that it was an accident and he didn’t mean to do it. Would they get back together?” “Uhhh I think it is possible but the chances of getting back with the boy’s former girlfriend is very slim.” Angel looks at Buffy in disbelief and Buffy starts to look away from him.
“Any other opinions?” This time Willow raised her hand. The teacher pointed to her and willow said, “Can I answer The Cheating On questions?” “Sure, go right ahead.” Willow gets up and pulls harmony by the wrist and harmony says, “Hey! Get off of me you weirdo!” Willow takes her and places her next to Angel and willow whispers to harmony, “ Stand right here and if you move I will tell everyone your darkest secret.” Harmony starts to get nervous and she gulps.
Willow then faces the class and says, “Ok class, here was the situation! Pretend that Harmony here is kissing angel. But and already said that he has a girlfriend, Buffy. So Angel gets away from Harmony but then Harmony realizes that the only way to make Buffy break up with Angel is to make it seem like Angel kissed her. So while plotting her evil plan, Harmony then waited for the right moment. When was the right moment? Well when Harmony saw Buffy walking down the hall and heading to where Angel was Harmony quickly plants a kiss on Angel’s lips to make Buffy watch in horror and to think that Angel was cheating on her. But, what really happened was that Harmony tried to set the whole thing up so that Angel could live in a the most horrible way possible.”
The teacher asked, “So your point on the Cheating Factor is that?” Willow looked at the teacher then at Buffy and Angel and then she started to speak at a voice where everyone can hear her. “Oh yeah that part, my point is that Buffy, Angel never cheated on you and you know that he really loves you. Ok so maybe Angel gets a little jumpy when he kisses you but think of it Buffy. If Angel wanted to cheat on you he would’ve done it a long time ago.”
Angel then glanced at Buffy then looked at Willow and said, “Hey!” Willow then said, “No pun intended, Buffy look deep in your heart and ask your self, would Angel ever cheat on me?” Buffy just stood there and then her eyes widen and she started to cry. “Buffy?” Angel said softly. Buffy looked up at Angel and then said, “ Angel… oh my gosh I’m so sorry!” Buffy then hugged Angel as hard as she could and tried not to let go. Then suddenly the whole class gasped and even the teacher too. Buffy didn’t let go; all she thought about was hugging Angel in an apologizing way.
Buffy then pulled apart from angel and they start to hold hands but then Buffy didn’t want to hold hands, instead she wanted her to hold her in his arms. Buffy shifted so that Angel would put his arms around her. Harmony looked at Buffy, Angel and Willow in shock. Harmony couldn’t always keep her mouth shut so she said, “ Ok the funs over, so what? I wanted Buffy to burn in hell. She gets the cutest boy in the class and I’m the on with popularity on my side and Buffy’s got the weirdo family on her side.”
Angel then said, “Hey! Make fun of my girlfriend and your going to get a butt whooping.” Harmony then looked at willow and asked, “So, miss brainy pants, how did you find out what happened?” Willow smiled at she took out a tape from the security room and said, “Its called a security camera, every school has one. I suggest you look up security camera in the dictionary because most people can be popular but are unpoopular to even care about education!” The whole class clapped and then this one kid said, “That was the best soap opera ever!”
~Finally out of Third Period Class~
We see Angel and Buffy holding hand and walking down the hall with Willow and Xander by their side. Buffy looks at Willow and says, “Thanks Will for getting us back together again and Angel I’m sorry I didn’t hear your story first.” Willow then says, “Guess it means that I actually saved the day. Oh, and next time you won’t be so lucky that Willow won’t come to the rescue so I suggest you purchase a book at the library called ‘Apologizing For Dummies’.” “Uhhh ok… wait… is there even a book with that name?” Buffy, Willow and Xander are talking on and on while Angel still holds Buffy’s hand and he tries not to say anything because he didn’t want to spoil the moment at hand.
