The car is parked in the middle of a field with the headlights shining on Buffy and Spike, they've just finished filling the hole with the three bodies.
"There, that should do it.?" Buffy says.
"A nights never complete if you don't bury a body." Spike says.
"I hate this, I was supposed to be a normal girl now. Instead the fucking first evil has to rear it's ass back around and drag me back into this."
"Hey, no worries lamb, we'll beat it back just like we did before and this time we'll make sure it can never come back."
"Why'd you come here?" Buffy says.
"What?"
"You got a whole world in front of you and forever to go with it, yet you decide to come to another hell mouth to help me against the first."
"What else could I do but that Buffy, I love you, I want to be near you and I want to ensure your survival when the last battle comes."
"Which probably won't last long, the firsts army must be outnumbering the people on this whole planet, because it's taking the steps to become flesh."
"And if it does." Spike says.
"If it does it'll finally have an ass I can kick and then I plan to chops it head off and rip it's heart out. You know I really need to call Giles."
England:
Giles is in a meeting with the new council which consists of Robson, Robin Wood, and other surviving watchers.
"It's clear as day, the first is back and it means to destroy the world."
"What are its plans?" Robson says.
"That is currently unknown, I have to wait to hear from Buffy Summers, once we've obtained enough information, the girls must be gathered and sent to the hell mouth if we hope to beat this back."
Cleveland:
Buffy and Spike enter the apartment. Dawn is watching T.V. Willow and Kennedy and Xander are with her.
"You know this house is looking a little full." Buffy says.
"What can we do about it?" Xander says.
"I have a cash flow from the council, I could get another apartment, for me, Spike and Dawn."
"Great, lets look into it tomorrow." Dawn says.
"We will."
A tall demon stands in a cave the first is with it.
"The slayer is a threat to your kind, she is a threat to me, I am your creator, I am your god. She must be destroyed."
The demon speaks with a deep demonic voice and his eyes glowing red.
"And I will destroy her."
He holds out a red orb.
"With this I will take her power, and it will slowly kill her."
"Pain and suffering, my favorite. Now go, hunt, take, and sit back and watch her die."
The following Night:
Buffy is out with Xander patrolling the local cemetery.
"It's actually cold here." Xander says.
"So you've noticed that too." Buffy says sarcastically.
"Yea, I mean this is supposed to be a hell mouth, shouldn't it be warm like back in Sunnydale."
"The reason Sunnydale was warm was because it was in California, a desert Xander, Cleveland Ohio, not a desert."
"I don?t like this planets crazy logic."
"No one really does, as far as I know."
The demon then lunges from the shadows and growls at Buffy. She pushes Xander out of harms way and punches the demon in the face. He back hands her across the face with his fist as big as her head. It knocks her to the ground but she immediately springs to her feet and jump kicks him knocking him to the ground. Buffy leans over him and punches him in the face repeatedly. The demon grabs her by the throat. He gets to his feet and lifts her off the ground. Xander attacks the demon to help her. He pushes Xander away knocking him to the ground but manages to provide enough distraction. Buffy kicks him in the groin and he drops her, she then kicks him in the face.
"Xander, weapon!"
"I don't have any weapons! I thought you had weapons!"
"I have a stake!"
"That's a weapon!"
"A stake's not gonna kill him."
The demon takes the orb into his hand. He punches Buffy in the stomach and the her power, her strength and senses are all sucked from her. Buffy is stiff from the shock of it when it's over.
"What the fuck?"
The demon then punches her knocking her across the cemetery and into a grave stone breaking it. He then runs off. Xander runs over to her.
"Buff, you alright?"
Buffy stands up.
"He sucked something from me."
Xander helps to hold her up.
"Xander, I feel really weak."
Buffy then falls over and Xander catches her. He picks her up.
"Lets get you back to Willows now."
Buffy is laying in Xander's bed. Everyone is in the room and Willow stands over her. Her hands hover above Buffy's body.
"Well it's definitely something magic, I can feel it, it's both powerful and dark."
"Do you know exactly what it is?" Xander says.
"No, I'm going to need to know what happened and a detailed description of what the demon looks like."
"I was fighting him, he hit me in the stomach with something, I didn't see what, then I felt like the life was drained from me. But not my life, my slayer powers were taken from me. My strength, coordination, my senses, all gone."
"Don't worry Buffy, we'll get them back for you." Kennedy says.
"Xander come with me." Willow says.
Xander, Willow, Spike, and Kennedy leave the room. Dawn stays with Buffy and holds her hand.
"You don't have to stay Dawnie, you can go help the gang out."
"No, I want to stay here with you, they don't need a watcher to help them right now. Willow's got everything under control."
Buffy weakly squeezes Dawn's hand.
"Thanks Dawn, I love you."
Dawn kisses Buffy's forehead.
"I love you too Buffy."
Willow boots up her lap top.
"So it had green skin, red eyes, fists as big as your head."
"And spiny looking things all over it's body, and two really big ones on his shoulders."
There's a knock on the door. Kennedy goes to answer it and Faith is at the door.
"Hey guys."
Kennedy motions for her to come in.
"Long time no see."
She looks at Spike.
"Whoa, you're still alive."
"Yep, the amulet brought me back, that's all I can tell you."
"Neat, so what's going on?"
"Some demon stole Buffy's slayer mojo so we're trying to get it back." Xander says.
Kennedy suddenly begins to get dizzy.
"Guys I don't think it's only affecting Buffy anymore."
She then falls over.
"Kennedy!"
Willow, Xander and Faith run to her and lift her up.
"Ok, Xander call Giles now." Willow says.
"On it."
"I think I'll go say hi to Buffy, where is she?"
Xander points to his room as he dials a number. Faith knocks and walks in.
"Hey B."
"Faith, you made it."
"Came to see if you're ok, got the skinny on what's happening, whatever happened to you, is affecting Kennedy too."
"What?" Dawn says.
"Kennedy just went down, Xander's on the phone with Giles finding out what's going on."
"Alright, thanks Giles, we'll get right on it."
Xander hangs up the phone.
"It's happening to all the girls at the academy too."
"Ok this is definitely a really evil spell. All the girls who got their power from Buffy and Faith are falling to the exact same thing, except for Faith. Hey I think I?m getting something." Willow says.
Willow glances at the computer screen and takes in the information. She then gets up and walks into Buffy's room, Xander and Spike in tow.
"Buffy we got something."
"Lets hear it."
"Ok, the demon is called a Klakta demon, their near extinction and have a serious hatred for the slayer. Centuries ago the clan elders forged an orb from black magic and made it specially to steal the slayers powers."
"So he did steal my powers, how come it"s affecting Kennedy."
"It's not only affecting Kennedy but all the girls in England." Xander says.
"It's killing all of them, except Faith, because Faith didn't get her power from you. She got it when Kendra died."
Faith cracks her knuckles.
"Which means me, spike and red are the only ones who can save you all."
"If you and Spike can get the orb, I can reverse it and restore all of them back to strength and make them, not die."
"Alright, we gotta get right on it."
"Xander stay here and help Dawn watch over Buffy and Kennedy." Willow says.
"Sure."
Spike and Faith grab weapons and head out the door with Willow behind. They get outside.
"So Willow, how exactly do we find this Klakta demon?" Spike says.
Willow holds her hand out.
"With a locator spell."
A little green ball appears from her hand.
"Follow."
The three of them go forward following the locator.
"The slayer has fallen." The demon says.
"Good. From what I'm sensing, all the slayers around the world are falling to this, that's one powerful spell."
"My race had very powerful elders once, heavy powerful in black magic."
An ax is thrown at him and he dodges it. Faith stands before him.
"Not all the slayers are down for the count fucker."
He runs at her. She kicks him in the chest, he punches her and sends her into a wall. Spike runs and leaps into the air and tackles him taking him to the ground. He punches the demon in the face repeatedly. The demon whacks him with the back of his hand and sends him into the wall. Spike and Faith stand up. The demon gets up and growls.
"So, how do you propose we kick nancy boys ass?"
"I think we should take him together."
They run at him at the same time. Spike punches him and Faith jump kicks him. He grabs them both. Willow uses her power and sends a burst of energy knocking him to the ground.
"Come to me."
The red orb comes out of the sack on his belt and goes to Willow, she takes it in her hand.
"No! You will not ruin my plan!"
Faith picks up Spikes sword and swings it cutting the demons head off. Killing it.
"There."
The orb floats above Willow's hand and her eyes are black.
"Reverse the spell."
The energy inside the orb releases and the orb glows. All the girls in England get their power back and they stand up. Kennedy opens her eyes and feels the power come back.
"Alright!" Xander says.
Buffy is close to death, her grip on Dawn's hand getting weaker. Suddenly her grip gets strong, she takes a deep breath and smiles as she gets her power back. She sits up and looks at Dawn and they hug each other.
Later
Faith gets her bag on her shoulder.
"Well I'm going to the apartment I have here, I'll come back tomorrow."
"Ok later Faith, and thanks." Buffy says.
"No prob."
Faith opens the door walks out and closes it.
Willow and Kennedy are in their room.
"Sure glad you came through, we were dying."
"I know, that's why we reacted as quickly as we could."
Kennedy kisses Willow. Willow pulls away.
"What is it Willow?"
"Kennedy, it's us, I don't feel right about it."
"What do you mean, I don't understand."
"I'm not in love with you Kennedy, I don't feel right about leading you on anymore, I think we should break up."
"No, Willow, we can't what we have is special."
"No, what we have is lust, and it has to stop now."
Kennedy wipes a tear from her eye.
"I see."
Willow wipes a tear from her eye.
"I'll go sleep somewhere else. I'm really sorry Kennedy, but it's best for both of us."
Willow walks out and walks across the room and knocks on Xander's door. Xander opens it and sees Willow sad. He lets her in and closes the door.
"Did you do it."
"Yea, I know it's right but still I feel really bad."
Xander wraps his arms around and hugs her.
"But you did the right thing for you Will."
"I know. Just hold me."
"You got it."
They lie down and hug each other. Kennedy lies in the bed wiping tears from her eyes and her face buried in her pillow.
