Cleveland, Ohio
The door to Willow's apartment opens. Willow, Xander, and Buffy, and Dawn walk in.
"Good thing Giles and Andrew are coming in a few days later, maybe we can get them a nice hotel." Xander says.
"Yea, well there's two bedrooms, the couch folds out into a bed, and I think I have some sleeping bags and extra pillows in here somewhere." Willow says.
"I call the extra bedroom!" Xander says.
Dawn looks at him and sighs.
"Damn it."
"Snooze you lose Dawnie." Buffy says.
"Ok, hate to do it, but we have to get down to business eventually, the first is back, and I think it's getting more ambitious than before, we"re going to need all he help we can get."
Deep underground of Cleveland a cave is set up, the walls lined with torches, men in black robes, that are not bringers, but humans dwell in this cave. They have an altar set up. The leader of the cult walks with the first evil in the form of Buffy.
"How are things progressing Marshal?" The first says.
"We are on schedule, almost."
"And the vessel?"
"The vessel will be a difficult find, he must be strong as a man, and we need the blood of a slayer."
"Well there's hundreds of slayers out there, so that shouldn't be too hard."
"No, that's not the issue at all, it's finding the vessel, he is in our cult, he must be searched out."
"Well find him, soon, my time is nigh."
The first then disappears.
Buffy is walking through the cemetery. She sees a vampire and begins to stalk him. She goes behind a mausoleum and looks out for him. She sees him coming and she steps out.
"Late night snacking?"
"Slayer."
"Yep."
"No! This can't be happening, I left Sunnydale to get away from you!"
"Well Sunnydale was destroyed, so I had to go somewhere."
He runs away. Buffy pulls a stake out and throws it hitting him in the heart, he turns to dust.
"No fun, he didn't even fight. He just ran."
Buffy is walking down the street at night. She hears a girl's scream in a nearby alley.
"First night in and already there's duty calls."
Buffy runs in the dead end alley and sees a vampire in a leather jacket and leather pants bite into a girls neck.
"Hey suck head, let her go!"
The vampire stops and looks at her.
"Slayer."
"Wow, I'm just known everywhere aren't I?"
He looks at his current victim.
"You're free to go girlie, I've found something better to eat."
The girl runs away. He looks at her.
"So, you want to feed off me huh?" Buffy says.
"Oh yea."
He runs at her, jaws open teeth bared, she kicks him in the leg, then in the stomach. She uppercuts him, swings him into the wall, she pulls out a stake and sends into his heart rendering him a pile of dust.
"Some vampires just get to cocky for their own good and end up dust."
A bunch of lights then shine on her and six motorcycles stop before her. Each motorcycle has a vampire on it. The lead motorcycle has the leader with a female vampire on the back. He steps off his trench coat falls to his feet. He walks over to Buffy. He lifts his goggles from his eyes and rests them on his head.
"So you're the slayer."
"Yep."
"You just dusted one of my boys."
"Well, he had it coming. I hope you're ready to join him."
"You're quite confident slayer, just like the ones who came before you."
"Yea well I've diverted at least eight apocalypses, killed thousands of demons and vampires, died twice and come back to life, I've been impaled at least twice and well still standing."
"It ends here."
"Try me."
The vampire comes at her. He backhands her, he cocks his arm and swings at her. She grabs him at the wrist, twists it and kicks him in the side. She then throws him into the wall, and kicks him in the jaw. The rest of his crew are ready to jump in. He holds his hand out.
"Stay!"
He gets up. He kicks her in her rib cage and punches her in the face, he grabs her by the head and shoves her into the wall.
"Oh and FYI the names Caid, and I'll be you're killer. I hear drinking a slayers blood gives you quite a high. I'l just have to taste and see for myself."
He leans in to bite her neck. She pulls out a cross and sticks it on his neck burning him. He backs off, she snap kicks him and then roundhouses him across the head. She lands on her feet in a fighting stance, seeing she is outnumbered, she runs towards the wall and leaps over it and runs away.
"She ran away!" One of the vampires says.
"Like the old saying goes." Caid says.
"He who fights and runs away, lives to fight another day."
He puts his goggles back over his eyes.
"C'mon boys, we'll run into her again, real soon."
"I had to run away, or his boys would have jumped me." Buffy explains to the group.
"So let me get this straight, there's a motorcycle gang here in town, but not only are they a motorcycle gang, but their also vampires." Xander says.
"Correct." Buffy says.
"Now do I speak for us all when I say yikes."
"Buffy, did this vampire happen to tell you his name?" Dawn says.
"Yea, he called himself Caid."
Dawn opens up a laptop and starts it up.
"The watchers council in England has an online database of vampires and demons and others that we can link to from the wireless internet connection of our laptops. Chances are if this Caid guy is running a motorcycles gang, he's probably been around for quite a while. "
"Oh." Buffy says.
"Wow, Dawn I must say you're becoming quite the watcher." Xander says.
Dawn giggles.
"Thanks."
"Gee I guess my computer skills are no longer needed, since watcher junior over here has got it going on." Willow says.
"Well, you"re still all witchy and stuff." Buffy says.
"Yea Will, you got the magics thing going on." Xander says.
"Also, you could always help me with the database searches." Dawn says.
"Yay, thanks guys."
"I say we go out hunting to kick some vampire ass." Kennedy says.
"Not so fast, I want to know what we're dealing with first, then we can charge in and kick some vampire ass." Buffy says.
Sunrise:
Caid and his gang are holed up in a boarded up house to guard against the sunlight for the day.
"I still can't believe you let her get away Caid." Lawrence says.
"Lawrence, this particular slayers has one hell of a track record not to be messed with, I heard the stories as they came out of Sunnydale."
"Sunnydale is no longer standing."
"Because of her, we have to take this slowly or we're all dust."
"A ha!" Dawn yells out grabbing everyone's attention.
"Caid's real name is Jack Kincaid, he's from the seventeen hundreds, he was part of a gang of vampires, that rivaled Angel?s group actually."
"Oh wow." Buffy says.
"Now-a-days, they ride from town to town, pick their victims and move on, then they came here and set up shop, they've been here for a while."
"Well, I'm going to chase them out in a stake and dusty sort of way." Buffy says.
"I like that idea." Willow says.
"I second that motion." Xander says.
Soon the sunsets Buffy, Dawn, Willow, Xander, and Kennedy head out, they all have a duffle bag full of weapons on their backs. They go into the cemetery.
"Now hopefully they'll follow my scent and come in here and then we can stake their asses."
"Good, I'm waiting for a good fight." Kennedy says.
Buffy leans in close to Willow.
"She seems angry." Buffy whispers to her.
"I'll tell you about it later." Willow whispers back.
"Ok." Buffy then breaks away and goes to the front. Kennedy loads up a crossbow. Xander looks at his ax. Buffy pulls out a sword. Dawn carries a crossbow as well. They hear the roar of motorcycle engines in the distance.
"Well my plan worked, they took the bait." Buffy says.
The six vampires ride in and ride around them, they stop and form a circle around the group and they step off their bikes. Caid looks at Buffy.
"Hello slayer."
"Hello slayee."
"Here's the menu boys, take what you want!" Caid says.
They run in to get them. Buffy kicks Caid in the face and then sweeps him to the ground. Xander fends off a vampire and hits him across the face with his ax. Kennedy shoots a vampire in the heart dusting him. The female vampire jumps on her back and begins choking her. Kennedy drops the crossbow, throws her off her back. She pulls a bolt from the sack at her side and sends it into the vampires heart dusting her. Dawn hit?s a vampire across the jaw with her crossbow, she then fires it hitting him in the eye.
"Damn!"
The vampire leaps on top of her but falls heart first into a stake. Dust falls onto Dawn. She gets up and brushes it off. Xander fends off the vampire attacking him, swipes the ax at his neck decapitating him into dust. Willow uses her magic to throw a vampire into a gravestone. She then holds out her hands.
"Incinerate!" Only she says it in Latin.
A ball of flame flies from her hand and burns the vampire to dust. All that?s left is Buffy vs. Caid. She punches him in the jaw and then kicks him in the stomach, she follows through with a scorpion kick. She then spin kicks him across the face. She pulls out a dagger and holds it to his throat.
"I'm the slayer, and you"re the vampire Caid, you should have left town when I arrived." She then slides the dagger through his neck cutting his head off and turning him to dust.
"Well, that was fun." Buffy says.
"Sure, now lets go home." Willow says.
Later
Xander is asleep in his bed, Kennedy is sleeping in hers, and Dawn has just laid down on the sofa bed. Buffy and Willow sit out on the private balcony looking up at the stars.
"So why is Kennedy so angry lately?" Buffy says.
"Well, I've been distant, I'm realizing she's not the one for me."
"Really?"
"Yea, in fact I'm starting to realize who maybe the one."
"Oh, do tell."
"I think it maybe Xander."
"Willow did you eat a candy bar that's made you regress to being sixteen again?"
Willow laughs.
"No."
"I thought you liked women."
"I do, but once I moved to a big city with more people, I've found that I've been attracted to boys to in a hetro way, so I'm thinking I'm more like bi-sexual."
"Oh well, anyway you go, I love you no less Willow."
"Thanks Buffy."
"And also I hope you Xander get together eventually, I always thought it should be you two."
"Really?"
"Yep, just give it time and things will fall into place, trust me I know."
"I have a question." Willow says.
"Shoot."
"Do you miss Spike?"
"Yes, I do. I mean I've had time to move on, so I've moved on, but I haven't let go. That day in the hell mouth. I grabbed Spikes hand and told him I loved him. He said I didn'0t but thanks for saying it. Truth is, I meant it, when I said I love you to Spike, I meant what I said."
"And I'm sure he loved you too."
"Thanks Will."
They cuddle up together under the blanket and look up and night sky.
