Willow, Kennedy, and all Buffy Characters are owned by Joss Whedon. All Dark Shadows Characters are owned by Dan Curtis. Any other characters are mine(though it would be pretty hypocritical of me to get mad for someone else using them wouldn't it.
I'm sure I Don't have to explain who Willow, and, Kennedy are, but some reading this might not be aware of Dark Shadows(and if you are, you can go head and skip this chapter, my feelings won't be hurt)
Dark Shadows technically started as a suspense themed soap opera in 1966. but a year into it, ratings were so bad, that the network canceled the show. With little time left, creater Dan Curtis, decided to hell with soap operas, he was going to make the show the way he wanted to make it.
The show was switched to a supernatural format, and, the world was introduced to Barnabas Collins, a 200 year old vampire who was released from a chained coffin (More on that later in my story.) and the once cancel show was now the runaway hit of the year.
The show was on for five more years, and is still a cult classic today. I First saw the show, when I about fifteen. To be honest, the effects were primitive, and the dialog was kind of chessy and I didn't think much of it at first. I'm not even sure why I kept wacthing, but I did. And soon I found my self drawn into the story.
The wrighting, and the characters Created this dream like world, and, the bad effects actually help because it made it like watching a play. and it became one of my favorite shows of all time.
Of coarse in 1996, another show about Vampires became one of my favorites to(but I guess you already new that.) Even as far back as Buffy season 2(when it really kicked into hi gear.) I thought about the possibility of a Buffy/Dark Shadows crossover.
So, hear we are. by the way Barnabas won't be in the story for a few chapters sorry (Althogh his pressece will be felt in the first chapter)
