"Now then, are you going to let me and my mates here past, or am I going to have to steak you?" An evil glimmer of something lit up Kaithla's eyes as a memory came to mind from a long time ago. A time when she was in more danger than now, but the feeling of the adrenaline as fresh as it was then. It was her fifteenth birthday, and she knew she was going to die, but she was determined to take as many of them with her as possible.
The same feeling was now surging through her veins, as she wheeled and butted a vamp lurking in the shadows. He hit his head on a low beam, and knocked himself unconscious while bleeding profusely from a broken nose. The power she had felt good. Ever since she had been activated as the slayer she had been strong, but her might was growing with every day. That only meant one thing, something was happening in Sunnydale. Something very bad indeed.
