Part Nine

The atmosphere had grown darker now, due to the surrounding situation. Voyce and Mitch continued bickering over what to do and how to deal with it.
"The bitch just stabbed me in the arm!" Voyce growled, pointing to the injury Buffy had inflicted on him. His black wings began to flutter involuntary, slowly shrinking into his back, causing him to wince in pain,"She's wrecked my entire nervous system, man."
Mitch observed Voyce's epileptic surges, jumping back at times when Voyce would violently shake. "Damn! Just because you were stabbed in the arm, you're dying? I thought you were stronger than that!" Mitch eyed Voyce suspiciously,"Get control of yourself!" Mitch hesitated at first but placed his hands on either sides of Voyce's arms.
Voyce stared down at Mitch, grinning slightly," You've got to kill someone now!" Moving his sight so slowly to not feel as much pain, he placed his vision on Xander. "Oh crap." Xander's jaw dropped, instantly showing his expression of fear. Scuffing the floor with his boots, he quickly got on his feet, and off of his hands. Buffy and Willow stared at him curiously,"Something bad is going to happen," he said, his tone filled with trepidation." In a flash, Mitch was running towards Xander, brandishing his handy scythe.
Xander shoved the unaware Buffy out of the way, as the scythe sliced through the front of his shirt. Xander avoided injury by rolling backwards, then stopping himself, as Mitch angrily lunged at him. Willow sat up to see the dilemma Xander was in now, she tugged at Buffy's shoulder,"Help him," she almost ordered.
"Don't think that'll happen!" Voyce lowered his brow, and grinned wickedly. The ground under Buffy and Willow shook as black, rusty chains wrapped themselves around the Slayer and her red-headed pal. The chains then tightened on Willow and Buffy restraining them to the ground, yet still allowed them to sit up. "Damn," Buffy muttered. She was annoyed and felt like she was now stuck in a bad S&M situation. Willow started crying, her tears began to stream down her cheeks, gritting her teeth trying to gather some strength. Voyce collapsed on his knees , his towering frame came crashing down,"Stop with the karate bull shit, Mitch! Cut him! Cut him!" Voyce yelled, digging his nails into the ground profusely.
Xander's eyes darted as he watched the expression of lunacy in Mitch's face. Mitch's tongue darted out from his mouth, licking his fangs, it was bloodshed he wanted. Xander expected to be sliced and diced that very moment, but for some reason, he movedquickly enough to avoid it. Mitch raised the scythe into the air, then lowering it as he continuously swung at Xander.
All of a sudden, Angel plowed right through the front entrance of the Bronze, kicking Mitch to the ground. It was the first time Xander was happy to see Angel at all. Angel acknowledged Xander and began to furiously beat Mitch. Voyce snarled, and slowly regained his strength, looking like a grotesquely beautiful statue as he stood tall. Mitch huddled himself near a wall as Voyce toppled Angel to the ground,"You were faking being injured just to have me kill someone!" Mitch yelled at Voyce with a sense of realization.
Voyce grinned, picking Angel up by the back of his jacket and slamming him down on the ground repeatedly." You're nothing more than a bad influence, man," Mitch grimaced. He noticed Buffy shackled down to the ground and quickly ran to her aid, by loosening the chains from her delicate hands. Buffy thanked him with a slug right in his face, sending him flying across the room. She then quickly released Willow from her entrapments."
"You're a demon, yourself!" Voyce realized while raising Angel by his throat,"And a bloodsucker at that." Angel kicked wildly at Voyce, but his arm was too long and he couldn't reach him. "Damn I hate you fruit job vampires, always sucking blood!" Voyce grinned with his fangs exposed,"Let's see how you like it Dracula boy!" Voyce bit extremely hard into Angel's shoulder, sinking his teeth in. Angel screamed in absolute pain, he had never been hurt this way before.
Willow picked up a discarded table leg and began to hit Voyce on his back, This made Voyce pull his fangs out of Angel for a few seconds. " Ow! You little pixie bitch!" Voyce seeming annoyed, kicked her in the side of her stomach , she curved back, slowly beginning to fall, Xander slid under her to catch her. Willow balled up in a fetal position and gritted her teeth,"Oh god." Willow mumbled, spitting up blood, Buffy saw this and ordered Xander to get her to the nearest hospital, Xander hesitated at first, but this was his best friend's life on the line. He scooped Willow up, her arms tightened around his neck, she bit on his torn shirt, and both were out of the Bronze to certain safety.
Buffy leapt at Voyce, punching him in his abdomen, stunning him for a moment. He wrapped his hand around Angel's face and threw him into a pillar. Angel rolled his eyes around in his head, trying to make his vision stop being so blurry.
"Not you again," Voyce lamented,"Look, you little che...." He couldn't finishhis sentence before Buffy kicked in his right knee. "Arghhhhhh!" Voyce's scream was unholy. Angel's blood dripped from his mouth, with both hands he palmed Buffy's head and began squeezing. She gritted her teeth, and felt her ears popping. Mitch made a leap with his scythe slicing Voyce's back open. "Don't hurt her!" Mitch bellowed," I love her!" Voyce was heartily tired of hearing "I love her." He released his grip from Buffy, dropping her weakened body. He turned around and punched Mitch in the stomach, causing him to vomit his breakfast everywhere.
"Three against one isn't fair.... Not fair at all."
Voyce shook violently as his skin erupted, causing him to sprout his wings once again and claws, spikes and nails protruding from his body. "And here's the best part.... ," he smiled. "I've gotten enough death and destruction to have some of my buddies visit this realm." The Bronze's interior's became very hot, and a fiery portal massed itself over the center of the ground. Voyce, even more menacing, watched as hands reached out from the portal, some evil things were coming ....
