This has been one of the only chapters I really had to make myself finish. I really HATED Parker. His death should have been more torturous. The more he did to Connor the more I felt pissed off at Connor for putting up with it. I really prefered the earlier chapters. I'm still reading though.
Author's Response: Awww- sorry for the tough read and thanks for dsuffering through. It shouldn't be too bad from here on out. As for Parker, yeah, he really deserved worse. But there's a reason his death was as it was. When you say you preferred the earlier chapters, did you prefer them to this or to ALL recent chapters? In any event, we start to get al ittle less dark from here. A LITTLE. |

Wow, what a twist. This entire story's had some pretty sick scenes, but this chapter was really good, I like how those guys are getting what's due to them as depraved abusers, and how Connor's doing this because of how he likes Buffy. It's kind of cute...though strange. Well done, anyway. I can't wait to see what happens to Spike.
Author's Response: Thanks, man. The story is pretty sick, but I hope it's not JUST sick. I want to get into the underlying issues as well. I didn't do that too much with the abusers. They were pretty much stright up melodramtic villains. But next chapter, I start to deal with why Buffy and Connor seek out the abuse and why Connor relates to BUffy so much. (Well, I just kind of gave that away, didn't I?) |

Author's Response: Thanks for reading. The number of reads get has Thanks for reading. The number of reads I get has plummeted, so I appreciate you hanging in there. I’m wondering if it’s that I’ve gone too extreme or that the guy-on-guy stuff isn’t as popular as the lesbian stuff. If so, PLEASE COME BACK AND READ MORE. This chapter was pretty much the last one with guy-on-guy. From here on out, it’s pretty much all hetero. I think.
Damn right it's Spike's turn. And boy oh boy should it be good. |

Good chapter, got to say, the last paragraph definately caught me by suprise. Nice twist, widely unexpected.

I think this story is fucked up but for some reason I can't stop reading it lol. Think I'm addicted? Anyway I hate the Angel/Cordy and hope it doesn't last long.
Author's Response: If I had a dime for every reviewer who thought this was fucked up but coudnl' stop reading, I wouldn't have to work at KFC. Then again, I wouodn't be gettinf free chicken. Glad you like the story. Sorry you don't like Angel/Cordy. I think I'm sticking with them, but they won't be the focal point of the story. Then again, I make this shit up as I go, so don't listen to anything I say. |

Where is everybody? I can't see anything! Oh right: it's DARK. The cat (evil and demented) is finally out of the bag. Well... at least there's no more oppotunity for Spike to blackmail Buffy. I can't wait to hear Buffy's explanation (reminiscent of Riley's "it must be your fault" speech?). Update soon!

Damn, why is Janice with R Kelly, I mean Dave anyway. I mean there are other ways to get drugs (not that I know what they are, cus I would never do such a thing again, uh, I mean ever.) Still a great story.

I loved it! But i have to ask, why Angel and Cordy, very good idea i just hate the two of them together, it's joss whedon's fault, lol. I loved Dawn's word lip. VERY funny! Lookin' foward to more.
Author's Response: Glad you loved it. I'm not a huge Cordy/ Angel fan either, but I needed this for a few reasons- not the least of which is the Shanshu. The next few chapters are almost ready, I hjust have to write some filler and rearrange some events. |

Yea, I'm sure Angel's going to be OK, with Buffy and Spike (Sure) Pretty dark chapter, but it fits thing prefectly. I lkie Spike and Buffy after he got his soul, but before that, it was just weird, keep it up.
Author's Response: I'm with you. Buffy and soulless SPike was a pretty low point for her. Of course, I wanted to explore that, which is why this story exists in the first place. More darkness to come. |

No Buffy, your not his girl, your his (OK, I'd better not finnish that sentence), but I like that your not cutting her any slack, like they did on the show (I mean she knows better) Dawn, and Connor work well toughter to, good stroy over all.
Author's Response: Thanks, man. The show was Buffy the vampire slayers, so I guess it's natural they let her off the hook. I'm not goig to fdo thtat, though I do plan on offering an explanation, which is something else the show never quite did. Dawn and Connor are kind of cool together, I think any way.
