I liked the idea that Angel could never have a good relationship with Connor due to his soul. Yes its sad, yes it introduces much angst, but its a path that the show never really focussed on, given their obsession with Buffy - the Instant Happy Pill. Good to see Cordy alive and sort of happy. Being a Princess on Pylea seems a nice reward for her, but I suspect that its not as satisfying as she may have once thought. And an interesting cliffhanger ending! Again! However do you manage it!? ;)
Author's Response: Thanks for the review. I do love my cliffhangers. I think Cordy will actually find ruling Pylea more difficult than she first thought in season 2. However, I think she'll find that difficulty more satisfying than she would have then. Still, that's mostly conjecture. I don't think we'll see her again.
I always thought the show short played the relationship between Angel and Connor. There was a lot of milage they could have gotten form it, but they just never really milked it like they could have. I thin that's why I like writing Connor stories so much. There's so much untapped dramatic potential. |

loved it, that stuff that Angel siad about not wanting to hurt Conner was so sad, also points for having hell dimension Conner say Angel was "ditching" him

Another brilliant chapter. Exceptional comic relief. Still my fav fic. Keep it up!

Nice cliffhanger at the end--getting ready for the fight and all. Also, I'm liking the bit where Cordy is still alive in another dimension (specifically, Pylea). Can't wait to see if there is any Connor strife involved there, apart from everybody assuming a little too much. For that matter, I'm waiting to see more of the Mayor (since you keep having him come back). It was another great, action-packed chapter, of course. Don't leave the suspense, though--please update it again soon!
Author's Response: Cordy said in "You're Welcome" that she had another path and I kind of wanted to run with that. But if she dies, then thatpath obviously isn't on earth. Pylea is the only other place she visited and she did seem to have an important role there. Connor's strife in Pylea won['t be too bad, but he has some problems waiting for him when he gets home. I'm planning for the Mayor and Kevin to be permanent cast additions, but I also planned the same for Gretchen and you saw how that worked out. Besides, i really need to trim this cast. But the mayor I hope to keep around. |
