Xander kicked it. That was funny, then Spike said it was fun looking. Cordelia, eek. Great story. I'm excited.
Author's Response: Glad you liked the story. Thanks so much for reviewing. |

Dawn's withcraft is progressing in quite a similar way to Willow's at the moment. I can see how Xander would be worried about advanced spells. Nice to see Spike is still sticking up for Dawn though. The suggestion that Cordy is actually in Pylea was a shock but makes sense... although for all I know, she could be the First fooling with the entire dimension... Also, I liked the ending, very actiony! :)
Author's Response: Thanks for reviewing. I’m pretty much copying Willow’s progression with magic where Dawn is concerned. But Dawn’s a big ball of mystical energy, so you’d have to imagine she’d be pretty powerful. Spike’ll always stick up for his Little Bit. I promise more action to come. |

Sorry, when I said, "shot down is his place" I meant "shot down in his plane".
Author's Response: LOL- I figured! |

| ' Xander gripped the lobby counter and looked down in frustration. He was quiet a moment. “Damn it!” he shouted as he began kicking the counter.
Spike stood up. “Xander, that’s . . . well, I was going to say that’s not going to do us any good, but it actually looks kind of fun.” '
Hee! (Again) Great Spike line. Very excited for the next chapter. Cordy, Billy (I KNEW it!), the reprecussions of torturing the Mayor, Numfar! Can't wait! I'm really enjoying your characterizations and the way you're bringing past stuff from the shows.
Another side note...I know a guy who served in Bosnia and here's my history-geek side note, but...um, wasn't the US mostly involved in air strikes? I seem to recall that most of the ground "peace keepers" were Canadian and other NATO countries (becasue of the whole atrocities thing that lead to a lot of trouble in Canada, which I remember hearing about incessently on the news, and the closing down of the RCAF, thus leading to us having, for all intents and purposes, no army). Milosovitch didn't actually stop his "ethnic cleansing" until he was faced with the possiblilty of Clinton deploying ground troops. It's actually because of Bosnia that Americans got used to the idea of "war without casualties", since there were negligable American losses (like 4 people, I think) when compare to other wars. Sorry to bring it up, since it throws off a fabulous plot idea, but I can't leave the history stuff alone. However, if Billy were, say, shot down in his place...that could work *g*
Author's Response: Glad you liked the story. I've actually read a lot about Bosnia and the Bosnian war. Yes, you're correct. The U.S. never deployed ground troops and in fact fought the war because they didn't want to deploy ground troops. It's a confusing thing that has to do with treaties, but if you read Richard Holbrooke's memoirs *To End a War*, you'll get teh story. So yes, minimal casualties making Billy's POW status unlikely. But I do have an explanation planned. However, I may not time to get to it because Billy is mostly a pretty minor character. We'll see. |

Ya you have to update! This rocks!
Author's Response: Thanks! I've been writing on and off, so sorry it's all coming out so sporadically. |

Yea.... Update!!! I'm glad that the Mayor's still around..... Also, curious how Round Two's going to go at the hotel. And Cordelia returned to Pylea??? Interesting..... Or..... Cheap copy????
Multiple questions--too many of them. (Actually, not too many; just a few. But whatever.) I loved it--the part with Faith proclaiming herself hottest brunette in Pylea was funny (and so Faith), and I'm liking both basic plotlines (which, I know, do connect). Please update it again soon.
Author's Response: Thanks for the review. I try to have double action- two action-packed plotlines running simultaneously. I'll try to keep that going. |
