Well, I finally decided to check this story out, and so far it's pretty good. I can't help wonder if Olivia really is a Slayer, or if it's someone else. Guess I'll know soon enough.

Xander has a BMW? See- the HS nerds are always the ones who do well in the real world. I also like the spider comment. Xander was never one to let a good joke drop. Xander's trials in getting Olivia to accept her destiny were great. Also, I liked the Munsters in-joke. Were there any other in-jokes or references I missed?

Author's Response: Nice Catch! I wondered if anyone noticed that.

One thing I do whenever I'm stuck for a name of a big bad or demon is to take a name of a character or person and spell it backwards. For Instance in the previous chapter:
"Giles came across a set of texts by Ibonek Naw Ibo"


Author's Response: Oh and the reference to "Diane" as Xander's assistant is from Twin Peaks.
