This whole thing was..... Great! I loved the earlier Irving Berlin reference ("White Christmas" movie and all--song's been stuck in my head since I read it), and I liked the way that you wrote it--Buffy didn't all of a sudden go "I love Spike, he loves me, the end." It was drawn out, and Buffy did anti-Spuffy mistakes. It was great.
