Hmmm, I'm getting the feeling here that you don't particularly like our friendly neighbourhood vampire with a soul (the original, I mean). Angel's one of my favourite characters, but looking at the chappie objectively, I'd say job well done.

Author's Response: Okay. Thanks for reading it and reviewing it--for a while there, I was beginning to wonder if it really sucked, and thus, no reviews. And it's not that I don't like Angel--but Dawn might not. I mean, she got pissed off enough about Riley, so how would she feel about the original guy to run out on Buffy and make her (Buffy's) life a near-hell? Not saying that he did, I'm just saying that Dawn might not favor him as much, because he was just one more guy that hurt her sister (in her eyes). But--wow--thanx for all three of your extremely great reviews. I'm off to read your story. Hope you keep enjoying this one!

Okay, I'm not exactly Anti-Spuffy, but I'm not exactly a fan, either. Faith's last line still made me laugh, though, even though I would have preferred to see Buffy & Angel together. Anywho, still looking forward to that badass Apocalypse. ^_~

Author's Response: Badass Apocalypse approaching (we get back to research mode in about the next chapter or so, I think.) Spuffy just struck me as more for this (right now, anyway), because Bangel seemed kind of far away, especially with the Angelus baggage. Also, we didn't see a lot of Bangel for the past few seasons (except in the kissage at the very end of BtVS 7 and "past" glimpses), but Spuffy was still very much a thing. So..... Okay.

Lol, the IM'ing between Oz and Dawn was funny. Like the beginning to this so far. There's only one sentence that's kinda confusing. Angel didn't try to make friends, and Spike seemed to avoid her. She would talk to him once in a while, but it just wasn't like it used to be. Could you explain that please, 'cause I don't get it. Did you perhaps mean Buffy instead of Angel? ...Anywho, 10/10 ^_^

Author's Response: No--I was meaning that Angel wasn't trying to make her like him really well, because she'd been so pissed off at him when he'd first gotten there. And with Spike avoiding her, they used to be good friends and all that. I was still talking about Dawn, and not Angel, with the "her" parts. Sorry for confusion--I'll try to fix that.
