| Though still a little sad about Spuffy, I loved the chapter. Exploring Connor's background is always tricky and I loved Dawn's reaction. I also love the tension gearing up for the big fight. |

Great chapter! It crept us closer to the mystery apocalypse while not sacrifices the drama and human interaction. I love Buffy's handling of Angel, Spike, and Connor. Hopefully the brooding won't stop, though. That's half the fun!

I know what I want to do for the apocalypse, 's just kind of hard to get it all together; and I'm kind of not liking the way I did it so far. But I will add more to it sometime soon..... Great chapter. The ending was pure Buffy. Apocalypse humor- it's the way of their world. I also loved Riley's uneasy return to the fold. You're handling it perfectly.
Author's Response: Thank you. The apocalypses are kind of overdone, but still so appropriate. Even if saving the world does get boring--needs to be done. |

Poor Angel. Xander’s right that he’d really hate Spuffy. I feel bad for him, even though I don’t really like Angel. But Danw’s right that Angel does kind of abandon her over and over. Then again, so does Giles. Okay, moving on. Great exchanges. The dialogue was really snappy. I loved the chapter!
Author's Response: I'm glad you loved the chapter, equally glad that the dialogue was good. And I know that Giles abandons them the same way that Angel does at times.... That may come into play later.... Yea, thanx for reviewing it again!!! Hope it stays enjoyable. |

Good chapter. The last line was hysterical- that is something the scoobies would bet on. I feel bad for Angel, sinec he's pretty much alone now and I was a never big fan of the Spuffy. Still, I like where the story's going. Keep it up!
Author's Response: Hmm.... Sorry that you weren't a big fan of Spuffy, since that's one of the "couple" directions that this story is taking--I think. I'm glad that you like the story regardless of the Spuffiness, though. Thanx so much for reviewing again--hope you keep liking it in general. |

It certainly makes sense that there's some resentment about Dead Boy. D's protectiveness of her older sister is endearing. Tell there's no Dawnie/Oz brewing here. All in all; excellent!

This does a really good job of showing the aftermath of the problems in "Between Apocalypses." I love that Dawn and Oz are e-mailing each other when they're only a floor apart. How very 21st century. Also, their screen names were hysterical.

LMAO. The whole going back to the battlefield...reminiscent of "back to the beginning". And Spike being a part of both big battles does complicate things...if I wasn't hooked before, I'd definitely be now. |

LOL. The classic Apolcalypse line. ...Thanks for explaining that wording misunderstanding in Chapter One, I think it was. And I get the usage of Spuffy instead of Bangel. And about Dawn's feelings towards Angel. I know that sometimes writers put their own feelings into their characters, so I was just wondering, because Angel seems to get the short end of the stick an awful lot. But very good chapter. Riley's relay of his conversation with Illyria was funny. Can't wait until the end of the world starts.
Author's Response: Yeah--I tend to agree with the fact that the end of the world isn't surprising any more, just wicked bad. And I actually don't mind Angel too much (except where he goes into broody, "it's-all-my-fault" mode, or, "I-have to-do-this-alone" mode). I think Angelus can be more fun, but Angel's not that bad. Glad the Riley/Illyria conversation was funny. The end of the world should start any update now. And I'm glad that I cleared up any misunderstandings. Thanx for reading and reviewing it again--it is SO great to know that it doesn't totally suck. (I don't think it does, but it's nice to have reassurance..... And I never know when I'm being confusing. So....) But anyway, thanx for the extremely great review. I'll try to update it again soon, with appropriate "end of the world" stuff. |
