Wow...a very powerful chapter. I loved every minute of it. I was sitting on the edge of my seat, litteraly, as I read every singel word. I liked the whole story time with Lorne thing. You captured his character quite well and I could imagine him saying everything. It's like that for the other characters too, by the way. I would write more, but I have to keep reading on...I have to!
Author's Response: I didn't think I wrote Lorne too well, so I essentially did this for two reasons. One, I LOVED his narrationin SPin the Bottle. Two, I wanted to practice my Lorne writing. I'm so, so happy you liked the chapter. Thanks again. |

I really liked this chapter. I love how you changed up the fight scene and made it more interesting. I totally loved the whole flying monkey thing with Andrew, lol. I also like how Angel finally realized the stuff about Connor and is now going to try even harder to save him. I also like how Cordelia's coming back. Gosh...you have so many good ideas and you actually made them work! I wanted Cordelia back, but would've never been able to come up with a logical way to bring her back. I LOVE your idea. Gosh...I've got to keep reading, I can't stop!
Author's Response: Yeah, I thought this made for a big fight between the goodies and the baddies. I think the things Angel said to Connor were way, way overdue. If you think about it, Angel never reached out to Connor the way he should have. And Cordy, yeah, I thought that was a cool way to bring her back. |

OMG! I LOVED every word, sentence, and paragraph. I will so have to keep on reading when I have some more free time. Would you mind reading some of my Buffy season 8?
Author's Response: Thanks so much for the review. I've been busy lately, but definitely haven't forgotten my stories. I hope to have more up soon. |

Nice job on the bloodletting/addiction. I've always thought that sort of underground vamp/human relationship was underwritten (not all sire-and-dust). I think the Fred / Connor thing is very cute, run with it! Dru was very well done (that is one messed up family tree, lol). Looking forward to more!
Author's Response: Thanks. The bloodletting addiction will hopefully not be around too long. I want to keep changing the things Connor does to drive Angel nuts. Dru will definitely be around for a little bit. Connro and Fred will also be around. |

I like the idea of Dru being poseissed by Darla(like Drudidn't have enoff problems as it is.) and conner's addictions are a intreting stroyline, but why did you have to get rid of Faith shes cool Damm IT! but I still kike the stroy.
Author's Response: I didn't get rid of Faith- lol. She's just not there right then. I had her gone for the year I didn't detail for a reason. As for Dru, she's always been in touch with forces others weren't. In the previous chapters, I hopefully established that Darla had a message she wants to get to someone that just can't seem to get delivered. |

Excellent as usual. Since this is a year later, wouldn't this be season 7? : ) Looking forward to seeming more Dru and her "Grand Mum".
Author's Response: Thanks for the review. Actually, since Connor and Illyria went a year back in time, I wanted to push everyone forward a year so we would be in season 6. (Other wise, this would be season 5 redux). Dru and Grand Mum have a big part to play in the next couple eps. |

I'm just gonna be grossed out if Conner and Faith start fucking. Only you would be that creative.
Author's Response: Sorry if that'll gross you out. I have no immediate plans for Connor/Faith and didn't realize I had implied that. Still, I like to keep my options open. I don't think it would be that creative, though. I've seen a few stories with those two. |

Faith as Connor's sponsor? That should be an interesting concept. Does the bit at the end mean we get to see another Lorne Narration coming up? More please!
Author's Response: Faith as Connor's sponsor is more or less being done in RoF season 2, so I don't think that's oging to last too long here. It'll all depend on the story. |

Now that is a downward spiral and proof just how far Angel will go for his son. Have to say I'm liking Season six.
Author's Response: Glad you're liking season 6. Yeah, Angel's trying to make up for a lot of lost time. |

Ah Lorne. The best thing that came out of ATS imho. I loved the episode where he narrated the entire story while on stage. Totally underutilized in the final season of ATS, but you are putting him to good work here.
As for Connor... Yeah you're taking him way out on the edge. I'll be interested to see the road he takes to become the champion Lorne predicts he'll become.
Author's Response: Glad you're liking Lorne. I'm always worried that I don't write him well. As for Connor, I hope to keep the poor kid in rouble for some time to come. |

Very good action scenes and some great ideas on how the final BTVS could have gone. I liked your idea about using Dawn as a "Key" again. I always thought it was odd that BTVS never addressed that portion of her character after season 5. Good to see it put to good use.
I also like the different aspects of Connors you are using across the different series you are writing. Campus Life definitely is a lighter and happier Connor from the Reilly family. Connor in this storyline is definitely on the darker edgey side while the Connor in Running on Faith seems to be a mix in between the two. As I mentioned in another review... I never really like Connor on ATS, but I like what you've done with him in all the stories you've written so far.
Keep up the good work.
Author's Response: During season 7, I really thought Dawn’s keyness would come into play for the big closing. I really wanted to see more key references after season 5, but it just kind of went away.
In case you haven’t guessed, Connor’s my favorite character. I really think there’s a lot to work with there, which is why I have a different version of Connor in each of my stories. Sorry to read you didn’t like Connor on AtS. (I think he was very misunderstood). But I’m glad you like Connor here and in my other stories. Thanks!

Great chapter, I'm really liking the Lorne narration. Update soon and often!
Author's Response: Thanks for the review. I thought the Lorne narration might be a nice change of pace. |
