Hahahaha. While it's apparent that you strongly dislike certain military prats whose name starts with R and ends in iley, I like how you show it. You completely put a spin on the episode As You Were, and I like the way it was done with the whole fighting with wifey and the Spike being angry. I'm really enjoying this story, I thought you should know. I wasn't going to comment until as far as you've written, but I thought I ought to comment about Riley. Good work!

Author's Response: Hee! Thanks. Yeah, I really dislike Riley, but it's been pointed out to me that I should attempt not to alienate everyone out there who likes him, so I tried to at least be fair to the guy.

It's interesting that you made the connection between all of Buffy's boyfriends leaving and her father leaving, something that I've never really seen established before. And also, I like the way Dawn eased the tension with Spike and Riley. I'm so accustomed to seeing S6 Dawn be a pissy brat. Nice to see her in a good light.

Author's Response: Thanks! Yeah, I like reading a more mature Dawn in fic, and I enjoyed MoreMature!Dawn in S7 of btvs, so I'm determined to make her more sympathetic. I'm glad your liking her :)
