I thought the confusing part made it funny. Star Trek, she's been hanging out with Andrew too long. Good story.

OMG!This chapter was SO confusing.It jumped from him killing angel to angel coming back and it confused me so much.But it was great the whole way through.I've had nightmares like that before where it jumps from one place to the next but I really liked this one since it wasn't happening to me.lol.Well great chapter as always.I hope you keep writing and adding to this chapter.Once again,great chapter.

i amTotally loving that Connor kissed Willow! howevery i am totally hating this emily chick lol no reason just i always thought after connor changed u know good lol that he and dawn should hook up im weird witness me being weird nice work though keep it up!

Every fic with Connor and Dawn (including another one of mine) has them getting paired up. I'm really trying to go another direction in this stroy. At least for a while. Totally loving that Connor kissed Willow! That was so him. And Willow's reaction was hilarious. The dream sequences were really great. Dawn's were funny and so Dawn. At first I thought that Connor really had staked Angel, it seemed so real. And I thought that Emily had lost it and killed her family. You are tying all of this together so well. Really great job. Look forward to reading more.
Author's Response: I think kissing Willow is the sort of thing that Connor would do in a dream. I’m glad I duped you with Connor and Emily’s dream. Hopefully I can *keep* everything together long enough to finish this story. I look forward to writing more, so I’m glad you’ll want to read it. |

Wow! This chapter was SO interesting!!! I was freaking out when Connor staked Angel at first. And I liked the thing with Connor kissing Willow and his thing for older women. Are you going to include that later in the story? I Can't wait till the update!! Wow! =)

You had me hook, line, and sinker. It didn't click until the fight with Angel started that Connor was dreaming. Same thing with Emily. It could've been easy to have Emily kill her family, but just the knowledge that she could kill them will be enough to do things to her psychologically. She also shares my opinion of Dawn. The line about everyone needing to be miserable because she can't get the guy she wanted was spot on. That's exactly how I feel. Surprisingly, I really liked Kennedy in this. For all the crap that the character gets, she was tailor made for this mission. Buffy, Impulse Queen of the Universe, would've smashed the candles on sight. I also truly hate you for that cliffhanger at the end. I'm dying to read that conversation in the next. Also looking forward to more of Steven Radinsky. Great chapter.
Author's Response: Glad to hear I hooked you. I’m not sure Emily’s opinion of Dawn (or yours) is completely accurate. She never asked Emily to break up with Connor. Dawn also told Emily to get back together with Connor. In fact, she’s the first person who’s said that Emily’s solution is one in which *everyone* winds up sad. I’m glad to hear you like Kennedy. I never really had anything against her and she did a pretty good job in this chapter. Sorry you hate me for the cliffhanger. Hopefully I’ll make it up to you by having more Steven Radinsky. Thanks for the review! |

This was great!!! I totally loved Connor's dream make-out with Will, thinking that if she was there she was part of the dream! This whole episode reminded me of the BTVS episode you alluded to through Xander...the one with the first slayer and the cheese! GREAT UPDATE...see I put it all in caps so you would know how brilliant it was:)
Author's Response: Yeah, Connor still has a thing for the older women. I was trying to keep the dreams serious until the readers knew it was a dream. Then, I tried to make it surreal. Dawn's dream was pretty much pure fluff, but Connor’s and Emily’s dealt with internal issues that will resonate in the next few chapters. Or at least I hope so. “Restless” (The Buffy ep with the first slayer and the cheese) is one of my favorites, if not my abosolute favorite. And, despite what Joss has said in interviews, I think the cheese man was expressing something of significance to the struggle being acted out in each person’s dream. I wish I could have done something that good. But, alas, this is all you get. I'm so glad you enjoyed it. Thanks! |
