I'm of 2 minds. First thing: How dare you say Buffy is a Bitch! She's a strong, opinionated, (more in this vein...)woman! And how dare you opine that she is stupid! But on the the other: BWAH!!!!!! Frickin' brilliant! "Trip to Egypt complete", "Cold, Dead, Seed", "abs gleaming like a Greek whatsit, cheekbones cut like a Roman something-or-other"...I'm mean, you just have such a way with phrases, too damn funny! I went to church after I read the fic; the priest is proably wondering I couldnt' stop smiling, esp. after the guilt-trip sermon. I can imagine one thing annoying about condoms (spermicide after...uh, never mind).

Author's Response: Ah, but I don't think Buffy is stupid OR a bitch. What I do think is that in S6 she came dangerously close, and that was a case of the way she was written. In S7, well, I have a long rant about how depressing it is that Buffy lost almost all the joy in her life and became a preachy dictator, but that's another story. Mostly what I poke fun at when I mention Buffy's bitchy behaviour is the writing is S6. Don't get me wrong. I love Buffy. I love that there's a character like her on TV. But S6 Buffy is not my Buffy. She had elements of my Buffy, but there was also this strange being, I call her "The Marti" that was doing odd things with my Buffy that didn't always ring true. I don't believe I ever said that she was stupid, but instead being irrational, which was something I also noticed in S6. I think in the quest to bring Buffy to the lowest point they could, the writers lost their way. Mostly I'm poking fun at the season as a whole, and the Spuffy part of it more specifically.

This is one of the most hilarious stories I've ever read. The condom to the shoulder thing, very funny. And you are so evil, why won't you tell what the *thing* is?!? It's fascinating... Anyway, great story, one of the funniest, as I'll say again. Poor Spike. Well, I guess their safe is a little safer, huh?

The story was funny and, to quote my favorite Buffyverse character, “at times inappropriately erotic.” I really enjoyed the read. Between this and hank you’ve shown you really have season 6 down, especially the Spuffy dynamic.

Author's Response: Season 6 I can write...it's the other seasons I seem to have trouble with...I suppose it's because there was so much wasted potential in this season...bitter? Moi? *g*

Thanks for the review! I'm glad you found it funny...the part I enjoyed writing was the condom scene, mostly because I recived the comment, "what size is he using? Silverback Gorilla?" Little known fact: regular sized condoms can fit over a watermelon. I've seen it done *g*

Of all my stories, this one has gotten the most praise (and 2 noms), which I find hilarious because I wrote it as a "dude, WTFis wrong with your girlfriend?" story when a good friend of mine's girlfriend acted almost exactly like Buffy does in the story, but without the pills...I'm glad I managed to portray the characters well. :)
