I loved that one. Conner getting Help from Faith, Conner not knowing stuff. And Dru, bad. Shame on her. :-P

Glad Faith is warming up to Connor. I think she's still somewhat bitter about how much she liked the memory whipped version of Connor and how different the real Connor is. I love how you're writing Dawn now. She's coming into her own not only with the magic as evident in the first season finale, but as a Watcher and a leader. Wonderful to see her grow as her own person instead of as an extension of Buffy. Dru and Giles?!? WTF?!? Your next chapter can't come quick enough for me.
Author's Response: Real Connor and Hapy Connor are two very different people. But in this ep, Faith had a breakthrough with Connor that I hope to build on. He really could be the little brother she never had. This is how you get chicks, this is how you kill demons, and mosty importantly, this is how you obey people. Giles was a claver guy when he stuck Connor in Faith's care. It could be good for both of them. Yeah, Dawn's almost a grown up. She's got confidence, she's using the magicks., and she's in charge. Kind of. The explanation for Dru and Giles is lame and I'm surprised so many people are excited. Hope I don't let you down. |

lol...I love that line! I really enjoyed the Faith/Connor bonding while fighting and spying. It reminded me of early btvs when they used to gossip and eat chips while fighting. The Dru thing has me going WTF like Faith...can't wait to see where that's going *g*

Lots of good banter in this chapter. I'm glad that Faith is warming up to Connor, but only in a motherly sort of way. And the ending? What is it with Dru? Poor Giles. Let's hope he's out of it. Have Faith kick her butt. Good chapter again. What can I say?
Author's Response: Yeah, Faith’s warming up to Connor. I think she felt robbed at first. Normal Connor rescued her from prison and I think she really liked him. Feral Connor was a bratty and aggressive. But now she’s seeing him more like the little brother she never had. |

“Another vampire with a soul?” Lucas said. “How many of them are there?”. :) A good chapter, full of witty lines and Faith/Connor banter. Although the cliffhanger is a killer. Giles? Drusilla? Noooo! ;)
Author's Response: Glad the gag lines are getting laughing responses. I'm wanted Faith to see the parallel between herself and Connor, version 1.0. It's good to know that banter is on target. I thought this cliff hanger was one of the weakest I've ever done, yet I'm getting more comments on it than any other. I can't help but feel readers will be disappointed when they see the (very obvious) explanation for this. |
