I enjoyed Spike's Point of View more than Buffy's. It isn't often that Spike shows his emotions, and yuo captured them well with this piece.

This was great, you really capture what they both were looking for and feeling...peace. It was beautiful and compassionate, a truly lovely piece.

A beautiful piece: incredibly, almost unbareably romantic especially for Spike/Buffy ship fans. I thought the split POVs were odd, and generally I would've written it in third person omniscient, or try first person with the other person's reaction being carried the first person's interpretation. But, that's person style. I would have given a full ten rating, but there was one thing I didn't like, in that it had too much of that downer feel that was so prevelent in the later seasons that just gets to me. It's in the difference between the passionate sorrow of tragedy and the subtle depression of melancholy which offers no relief, no catharsis. I can only take so much of it before I have to turn away. I write some pieces like this too, but I always want to try to leave some last thought that is enlightening and hopeful even if it is lonely and/or sorrowful. Thanx for this great piece. Really got to me.

I wrote this at a time where it seemed appropriate - i wasn't feeling all too happy - an i wanted to show how much their love would really hurt, because they can't really reciprocate.
