| I like what I am reading right now. The Angel being gone, but nobodies sure if he is dead is great. The Connor the leader is great. The fact that Spike survived is fantasitc. Nina learning about being a werewolf is great. And the new liason to the senior parters was a surpise I just need to know how he lived, but I'm sure you will get to that. Anyways you are doing a great job with the episodes. Keep it up. Likin' it so far. |

| I loved your story and can't wait for more. Stories are really all about conflict. I say the more levels of conflict, the better. You have a high-rise worth of conflict. Connor's contact and that internal conflict that creates for him. Spike's suspicions pile on top of that. Nina wants to get close to Connor, but he doesn't want that is another classic conflict. The ending's homage to the end of Angel episode one, I think, sums up the ultimate conflict of this story. This is a story about a young man who doesn't want to make the same mistakes his father did. But not only is he making them, I think he *knows* he's making them. And he just can't stop, because this is the only way he's been taught to function. The mystery about Spike's survival and Angels death are nice long-term plot lines that'll keep readers hooked. Your story has asked questions and I think readers will want to know the answers. The single-episode arc of Jason and his sister was great, too. I loved how you handles exposition. The shifting in time to Connor talking to Nina was wonderful. I wrote a story that had a take on Connor's destiny that was similar to yours, so I've got a sentimental attachment to yours. All in all, this is one of the best stories I've read. It works on as many levels as the original show. |
