This is the second really good "Once More With Feeling" song you've done. Have you ever thought of doing an entire song episode (like a sequel to OMWF)? The end, I thought was very neat. Maybe I'm reading too much into this, but Will asking about taking a detour and pulling away from the embrace felt very symbolic given what happens to Willow and Tara next.
Author's Response: It's good to see that the musical fics are getting results, as I feel a lot is lost without the actual music to accompany them...and the pretty dance routines :) Your point about the detour is interesting, and also pleasing to know that the story fits in plausibly with the musical. As for writing a musical story, the thought had crossed my mind, but I was afraid of overreaching my limits, and so these two fics were experiments, you could say, before committing mysef to writing that I could never feel comfortable with. However, I enjoyed writing both of these stories, and so when I have far too much spare time on my hands, will devise one...probably Angel sans Mandy ;) Thanks for reviewing the fic |

Very sweet. I liked the double meaning of 'Under Your Spell' when Tara sang it to Willow since she actually was... In your version there is no mention of what Willow is putting her through. Is that because of her innate ability that makes her gloss things over. To deny things that are unpleasant? That is the way I took it.
I really liked your song. I heard somewhere that Alyson regretted not singing more in that episode. *chills running down my back* All of the feelings that the couple had for each other were expressed wonderfully in the story.
Author's Response: Willow at the time cast that spell to 'forget', and so I think she would have ignored the sinister undertones of Tara's song, and, as you said, glossed things over. I'm glad that the song was somewhat convincing; I don't write a lot of Tara/Willow, and so any feedback is valuable. :) |

Very sweet and if Aly could sing it would have been perfect for the actual show!
Author's Response: Thanks for reviewing! It always interested me what Willow would have sung in OMWF, hence the fic. |
