Wow, Dawn's even worse now, with the credit card and the stealing of the money. And I like the bit with the jacket, because Buffy suspected Spike may have helped Dawn with her gift. Plus Willow's attitude was a nice touch. Can't wait to see what's going to happen at Buffy's birthday.
Author's Response: I always hated the stupid jacket. It's like, "Yo, Dawn, put some thought into that gift!" Buffy sure doesn't need more leather jackets...
Buffy's Birthday will be a lovely gathering with soem bree and a piquant white wine and...hey! Where'd everyone go... *g* |

Another great chapter. I imagine that in the show, if Hank really did return, Spike would've pulled a move like that.

I was always interested in what happened to Hank after Joyce died. Why didn't he come to take care of his kids or something? It's great to see a version of the story with him in it.

Another winning chapter. I think that Dawn's reaction and thoughts about her 'father' are perfect, and I like how the money thing tied into her kleptomania. The thing with Willow just goes to show what a jerk their father is, but I guess he's trying, so, ehh. Post part 3 soon. ^_^
Author's Response: Yeah, I always thought Dawn would be really angry if he ever came back. I missed protective Willow in Season 6, so I thought I'd bring her back *g* |
