I like the story its awsome, everything fits into place or something like that. The story just gets more exciting. Especially the Dawn and Connor affect or something related to that. Can't wait till you make the next chapter!
Author's Response: Thanks. The next chapter will kind of be a change of direction in a number of ways and I'm worried about how it'll be received. I guess I'llknow whether this series will work or not some time next week. |

Ok love the story...excellent idea and love the D/C pairing! BUT Angel and Nina-in bed-frisky=me and all other B/A shippers SICK! But I will let that slip and leave it be.....GREAT FIC please write more!
Author's Response: As mentioned, the D/C pairing may come after a long and painful journey. Like Joss, I want to torture until you all squeal. Or at least grumble. As for you and all the other B/A shippers- you’ve had six years to come to grips with this. To quote Col. Trautman, “It’s over, Johnny!” Well . . . *maybe* it’s over. |

I loved it! It's a great idea.
Is the werewolf thing going to take up the whole story, besides the D/C thing? Or will there be other monsters?
I love Dawn/Connor pairings and you're writing it really well. I love that you've thrown in parts of his life before the memory wipe and after.
Also, another thing i really like is that Angel and Buffy aren't together. Although i didn't really like Nina, i think that too much has happened for them to get together. But even if you do end up having them get back together i'm sure that you'll do it well.
The actions scenes rocked.
Can't wait to see the next chapter.
Author's Response: Thanks for reading, reviewing, and most of all loving my story. The werewolf thing will take up a few chapters, but not the whole story. I think it will be a major theme, though. College is a time of change and self-discovery. I imagine turning into a werewolf is the same. But yes, there will be other monsters. I love D/C pairings, too. I definitely want to set it up so that people will want them together. Then I’m going to make things hard as hell on you. Sorry, but I’m a bit of a bastard. I tend to think Angel and Buffy are too screwed up to go on, too. But I’ll see where the story takes me. Thanks for your compliments on the action scenes. They’re apparently my specialty, or so I’m told. |

This story just gets better. Your action sequences are very well written and easy for the reader to visualize. I particularly enjoyed the sequence with Buffy and Conner - should make for a night full of interesting discoveries.

Author's Response: Thanks again for the review. I'm glad my action sequences are still fresh to someone who's read around 25 of my chapters. This chapter was originally over 6,000 words, so I split it in two. The next chapter his mostly drama, romance, angst, etc. Oh, and "a night full of interesting discoveries"? You think I'd let you guys off the hook after just one chapter? Oh, no. This is going to take *much* longer. The next chapter should be up over the weekend or maybe next week. It'll depend on a few things. But thanks for reading! |

Another great story? My god, when do you sleep???
I like the premise that you have set out here, it's very canon in feel while allowing you to have fun with the unknown. I particularly enjoyed Dawn and Conner's repoire.
I did notice a few typos, and wanted to call them out in case you wanted to recode.
“And I hear you say you’ll de kissy kissy on the quad. " **Do, not de**
She wanted to fell sexy. **Feel, not fell**
Anyway, hope this helps. Great story thus far, I am off to read more!
Author's Response: Obviously I have time to sleep because I spend so little time proof-reading, lol. I thought college is as good a metaphor as high school and would help keep with the theme of the first three seasons of Buffy. College is a time to kind of discover who you are or who you're going to be. Who needs to take that journey more than Connor and Dawn? Connor has two past lives and isn't sure if he'll be a doctor or a demon fighter. Dawn is the little girl made of light who's only existed a handful of years but has 17 years worth of memories. She grew up (or she *remembers* growing up) in her sister's shadow and is now trying to break free of that. You also have all of the hormones and possibly more of the heartbreak and drama of high school. I hope I can keep your attention and prove worthy of your praise. |

OK, another great action chapter from you. I really do like how you write action sequences. I'm envious. Buffy's gonna be so surprised when she finds out who Connor is. I really like the Dawn/Connor pairing too. Lots of sparkage. Are you going to bring any more characters in? I'm not sure who else would fit. Maybe Xander? Keep going on this. I'm liking it already.
Author's Response: I too really like the D/C pairing. That's probably where I'm heading with this, but you'll have to read on. Like Joss, I'm not letting anything happen easily. I want my characters and my readers to suffer through sadness and heartache. Then maybe I'll give them what they want. Maybe it depends on whether the network cancels my story. J/k. I may bring in other characters. Buffy will probably be leaving within a couple chapters, but may return to check up on little sis occasionally. Willow and Kennedy live in Palo Alto, so they'll be around. I'm not sure how much I'll use them, though. Obviously Angel will make appearances. I know one of other canon character who'll appear. But mostly I want to develop my set of original characters: Emily, Terry, Alyson, Craig. Connor has a roommate who'll eventually come into the story, but I'm not sure to what extent. Anyway, hope you keep reading and enjoying. Thanks so much for the review! |

Action packed. Reads very quickly. Can't imagine Angel telling Conner "Nina's here in bed with me,"--seems like too much information, considering the character and the idea that Connor's his kid. Kind of an Eww moment for me there, but otherwise, a fine read. Looking forward to more.
Author's Response: Thanks for the review. This was originally a very long chapter, so I split it in to two. this is the action part. next will be a drama part. Personally, when I call my parents and my father tells me my mom is bed next to him, it doesn't Eww me at all. I came to terms with the fact my parents sleep in the same bed a long time ago. What I was trying to convey there is that Connor's relationship with Angel is much more healthy and natural then it was in season 4. I'm glad you're looking forward to more. I'm hoping to make this like "Running on Faith" and have 22 chapters to mirror a 22 episode tv season. |

When I started reading this, I was like oh this is so true to life about college. And I really like the Dawn/Connor pairing. I hope you concentrate on them. I really don't mind that Buffy and Angel aren't together. That's OK. I hope Connor gets to kick some demon a**. I'm sure he will. I can't wait for more.

This story's good so far. I like how you didn't have Dawn and Connor have this weird, mysterious spark (for lack of a better phrase) for each other, like Buffy did. My only complaint is that Angel's still dating Nina, that Buffy's still apparently with each other, and that Angel and Buffy aren't together. But, minorly insignificant. Can't wait to read the rest!
Author's Response: Thanks. I'm not a huge fan of the big spark on both sides. Like BtVS, I want to fill the story with unrequited love and heartbreak. As for Angel and Buffy, you'll have to keep your fingers crossed. The story's not over yet. Although they won't be in the story too much, they'll still be around. |
