You are the unofficial master of the Faith/Wes relationship. You write them with a true understanding of the characters and you see them from every concievable angle. I like the fact that you aren't afraid to make either character vulnerable but you never cross the line to needy/whiny! Great work and another great piece!
Author's Response: Thanks for the praise. I always hope that I don't write them whiny or needy, because we all know that Faith would never show that. Wesley would, but never to Faith. This was an exercise in POVs, just to see how each character reacts to the situation. It was fun and quite a learning experience. Thanks for the review! |

I agree with the review above, most people just write about Faith as if she is a one dimensional character who is nothing but nails and you allow us some insight into the real heart of the character! Very nice work!
Author's Response: I never thought of Faith as nails either. She was always that mixed up girl who was always misunderstood. I think that Buffy never saw this, which was why Faith went after her the most. Faith just wanted to fit in, be a part of Buffy's little group. Thanks for the review. The reviewers here are great! |

You really have a hankering for the WWF (Wesley Wyndham/Faith). I liked the multiple POV’s. I think you get into Faith’s head better than most writers. Most just write her as a straight up bad ass, but you really dig in there and get to the pain. The details about her mom fit naturally into the story. I also like that you made someone wiping away a tear mean so much. The conversation between them was great. It’s nice to see people reach out to someone who’s essentially very damaged like Faith, at that time, was.
Author's Response: Yeah, here I went again and did the POV story. I didn't realize that I wrote Faith that well. And I really don't think that she's that much of a bad ass. I think she's a hurt girl who has been through so much in her life. And I always thought that there was something missing in this episode for Wes to just let Faith not be taken by the Council, other than Wes's trust in Angel. The body language was there for this to happen. So I'm glad you liked it. |
