Author's Response: I know, we must chat. I've been hiding from this site as well as my e-mail....I tell you, the guilt over finishing this story was killing me. I hope you like the ending. I'm nervous about it. I took so long to get here that I'm worried I've got everyone's expectations to an unreachable level. I guess next week we'll know for sure. Author's Response: It will be a long time before I attempt another fic (so we may need to put a long rain check on that co-authoring deal), this one caused me way too much stress!!!! Just the thought of disappointing you all, it kills me. I swear it's what caused my writers block.

Hey omg i loved it. i always wanted to have dawn and connor hook up i mean its perfect buffy cant be with angel its a given... okay so its sad and disipointing but i thought hey it would be good if at least one of the summer's girls had a steady boyfriend the fact that he is angels son so tops the charts! hmmm well maybe i can help with ur writers block u never kno, what are u having trouble with?

Author's Response: I feel the fog lifting....I have some extra days off this coming week, so I am devoting at least one entire day to pounding this out. It's almost over, I know how it ends...I just need the time and poetic mindset to write it. Thanks for staying faithful.

Your comment about not being able to get a cell phone signal on Stanford’s campus is so dead-on accurate. I’m wondering if you looked that up for realism or just needed it for a plot device- lol. Also, I loved the cookie dough line. That was killer! Also a killer cliffhanger. Maybe I’m giving myself away as an unrepentant Connor-fan, but for most of that chapter, I was picturing the “gag me” faces he must have been making while Buffy and Angel talked. Still, I *loved* their talk. You really have their banter as well as their serious conversations down. I really love that your story gave me so vividly and believably a conversation the show(s) never provided.

Author's Response: I worried people would be thinking, “what the hell is Connor doing during all this bull-shit” but I saw what you did, as well as believed he would have gladly stayed out of what he viewed as a useless conversation of over-dramatics. Wait until his turn with Dawn, then see how useless and ridicules he thinks it is!
