For your first adventure into song fic, you certainly saved the day! This was wonderful. The reason I liked it so much, is that the exposition around the lyrics had such substance that it could stand alone. Yet the exposition was so in sync with the lyrics that it was merely an extension of them. My favorite line: "like a ragdoll being dragged along an old dusty floor" My favorite part was the great religion analogy, the entire section that so accurately represented the accompanying lyrics. Great Job! Alicia should be very proud!
