Ok, I think I may have forced you into a corner with my challenge that is difficult to get out of. Because all these characters are dealing with one particular event, just told through different POVs there is going to be overlap, no escaping it. So, it is difficult to keep each section fresh because of this. Now on to Xander. This chapter with Xander had good voice representation, but I wanted more depth. I wanted to see everything through his eyes and only glimpsed a small portion of that. His thoughts and feelings on not winning the award were great and so very Xander.

Author's Response: I just wanted to say thanks for all of my reviews. The deal with this is that when I was writing all of these it was 4am, and I had no beta reader, so I ran spell check and posted them. Your reviews are helping me to improve them greatly. Thank you lots and lots.
