Hey omg i loved it. i always wanted to have dawn and connor hook up i mean its perfect buffy cant be with angel its a given... okay so its sad and disipointing but i thought hey it would be good if at least one of the summer's girls had a steady boyfriend the fact that he is angels son so tops the charts! hmmm well maybe i can help with ur writers block u never kno, what are u having trouble with?

I couldn't stop reading this...it's excellent! You give these characters great depth and you obviously have talent. I have but one question though! Are you basing this story on Connor's memories that were the truth or the fabricated ones? I'm just wondering why Willow wouldn't remember meeting Connor...Unless I am missing something? Let me know...but like I said, great story! Please keep updating!
Author's Response: I promise an update is on the near horizon. As for the memories, this story takes place after 'Origin"' so Connor has both sets of memories. But as far as Willow is concerned, she wouldn't remember, as no one remembered Connor after Angel made the deal with the Senior Partners; and when Connor's memory was returned, only the people that were in the room when the Orlon Window was broken regained the real memories. Those people were Connor, Wes, Illyria, Angel and Vail. Angel and Vail already had this info of course, and Wes, Illyria and Connor became the only others to know what really happened. Therefore Willow would have no recollection of having met Connor, as their meeting was erased from her memory as it was from Faith's and everyone else’s. I'm glad you are enjoying the story, and once I finally get the next chapter up, I hope you decide to review again and let me know if you still like where it is going. Thanks for taking the time to review. |

This was amazing, I loved it to tiny little bits. I print the stories out so I can read then sitting down in something other than a computer chair and this one is one of my absolute favs!!!

At first I was annoyed that we were moving away yet again from what I consider the story. But you’re driving and I’m content to go along for this fun and wild ride. This was a great chapter and really delved into Connor issues that Angel s.5 didn’t have time for. I like how you use the tension without being too obvious and saying too much. There’s subtext, just like the show would have had. You give your readers credit for being smart. So thanks! P.S. Did you stop reading the reviews or just stopped responding? I hate the idea of pouring my fan-boy heart out to the electronic abyss.
Author's Response: Not the abyss, just bouncing off my nervous-guilty-shell-exterior for not updating my story in so long. But keep reviewing, because I swear, they are the only thing that will get me through this concrete wall of evil muse trappings!!! Oh and the highest compliment that I am able to convey subtext as the show does. I always worry about that, especially with it being my own favorite aspect of the show's writing. |

Exciting fight. I like that Dawn is pretty smart and knows Connor's going out to get what he can't get from her. Of course, she doesn't realize HOW he's getting it, but she's still right. Why can't the poor kid just jerk off like the rest of us?

Quite a curveball we get at the end there. So, I'm needing to read on and see what this "problem" is. Connor making fun of Buffy's name was hysterical. I suppose this means Connor doens't know who "Buffy Summers" is. That seems unlikely, but it also makes for a better story, so I'm going with it. Poor Connor. Wait til he has to tell Dawn about his family.
Author's Response: Yeah, I get what you mean about the likelihood that Connor hasn't heard of Buffy, but I went with the fact that she was never discussed in his presence on the show, and somehow felt ok that I wasn't contradicting previous storyline (because that never happened on the actual show) :) |

I'm not quite sure how you wrote something that sexy without characters taking their clothes off, but you did. I'm just going to have to accept that. I read this as a stand alone story and thought it was great. I still do. Wow!

Loved it! Angel keeping tabs on his son is interesting. I hope Angel and Connor get to intersect. Also, I loved the shout out to Firefly. Despite not having either of the primary characters, this chapter did a great job of moving the story forward.
Author's Response: Great that you caught the strait out stolen dialogue from Firefly. I know you are a true fan to be able to catch that. No one else has. It is just one of many of my favorite Firefly quotes. When writing that scene it just fit, so I stole it. Angel/Spike, Mal/Inara...there could be some parallels there, hmmm. : ) Thanks for the positive feedback. I hope you continue to enjoy the story. |
