Reviews for Running on Faith, Season One

I liked how Dawn's and Conner's comments went back and forth, and the poor team, sharp objects aren't really one's friend. Good chapter, I'm going to go read some more.

Author's Response: Thanks for the review. I'm glad the witty repartee worked for you. There’s more of that, and of course action, to come.

Very good... I love the whole Dawn/Connor snarky comments. I am so glad that Spike has shown up even though he is much worse for the wear. He should add even more taunts into the general mix... Great work! Must read more.

Author's Response: Thanks again for the reviews. I had a lot of fun writing the snarky comments, so I’m glad they came off as funny. Poor Spike did take a beating, but he should be here to stay for a while. He’s one of the central characters I want to build around. I hope you keep enjoying the story!

Quippy Connor? Love it. And Dawn just plays right into it too. I am just so glad that you didn't have Faith and Connor as a pair. I'd rather see another character pair up with her, but not Connor. I would love to see a Connor/Dawn pairing at some point down the line (maybe in your sequel). Everyone got their clocks cleaned in this chapter. Those bad guys you have created are great too.

Author's Response: I'm happy you're liking Quippy Connor. He's a fun character to write. I thought about a Faith/ Connor pairing and it actually seemed too bland a pairing for my tastes.

I'm not much for reading other people's work, but I can't stop reading this one. OMG it's so good. Wow. Yea... just wow!

Author's Response: Glad you made an exception and read my story. Also glad you can't stop reading it. Thanks for reviewing!

Oh my god! What a follow up. Faith is a wicked awesome lead slayer. Connor version 2.0 is such a kick-ass character and an awesome wheelman to boot. Spike’s arrival was a great addition. Dawn as watcher, not a brat, is cool as well. The banter and flirting were both hysterical and right on the mark. The biggest thing, though, is that ending. What an ending! I can’t wait to red part 3! I love stories that end with their heroes in such dire straights. I’m completely hooked on this series. It’s such a rush!

Author's Response: Thanks again for your review. I really liked writing this one. I was definitely going for an ending with everything having fallen apart for them before they’d even gotten it together. I’m glad you liked it.

This is awesome. The beginning was interesting and the ending intense. It had a cliffhanger that made me glad so glad the next chapter was already up. I wanted to review this before, but didn’t quite have enough context. The first chapter was mostly stand-alone. This chapter was the birth of your exquisite and excruciating style of always leaving me on the edge of my seat.

Author's Response: Glad to see I have ou on the edge of your seat. I hope to keep that going.
