| This is a superb story! I think It succeeds on many levels, from the mundane technical quality of your writing (grammar, spelling, etc.), to excellent dialog, and character and story development. It really feels like it's those two again, albeit with much more life experience under their belts.
A couple of aspects stand out in particular:
- Staying within canon (too many other X/C stories go off into wild--or just plain weird--AU.
- Good handling of Cordelia's 'death'. Enough to be plausable, without getting bogged down in the details
- Great cliff-hanger at the end of Chap. 2.
I would *strongly* encourage you to complete this story.

| This was another awesome chapter. I liked the nostalgic feel to it. When Cordy answered the phone, she wasn't the only one feeling like she was a part of the old gang again. I was right back in season 3. Then, we get the big reminder that everything is different. That was an awesome ending. I'm really waiting for chapter 3. |

I generally don’t like stories where people change the past without a good explanation. Therefore, I was overjoyed to see your story. You reversed the death of Cordy, which made me very happy. This is not so much because I think Cordy shouldn’t have dies, but rather because I think she deserved a better, more meaningful death than she got. Also, you did so with a completely believable explanation. I really appreciate that. Having added to that a renewal of her acquaintance with Xander, I’m in heaven. I’m glad you’re the kind of writer who can pull this off.
