Beautifully written with amazing attention to detail that paints a vivid picture one feels enveloped in: "…skin so porcelain white she looked like a china doll…" This story is funny: the Ghost Dad reference and ensuing argument; a reference I caught immediately, which had me laughing aloud as everyone tried to make sense of it, each in a way true to the nature of that character. As well as appropriately sad: "She sobbed until she was spent, bitter tears only capable in the very young. The apples were already turning brown." If that last line doesn't get you to read this story, I don't know what will. I am avidly awaiting the next chapter…the wait maddening…please help me regain my sanity soon…(I do realize writing of this caliber takes time…but more, please.)

Awesome! I hated the SITs on the show, but you've made me care about Amber (love the name btw). All the rest of the characters are extremely well written as well. I'm loving this story.

This fic is so well written--I can't believe no one has reviewed it yet! Seriously, I envy your writing style. Your paragraphs are so seamless, weaving spot on characterizations with interesting exposition. I was giggling at Harmony, and I can't wait to see what is up with Buffy!
