awsome...I loved it, I am anti-bangle but i do accept that they had a relationship for three years and felt the ending was as it should be, it felt right. Great job.

"I remember being sixteen, dragged kicking and screaming into death, and now death holds out its hand to me and I want so badly to be in that peaceful place."

Beautiful line. Despite being an ardent anti-Bangel person, I found the end very touching. I really liked your Buffy POV. Great work!

I loved it. Simple. Honest. Maybe you should write one from Angels POV? All in all a good read.

Oh. My. God. I have read this fanfic over and over, each time with it bringing the tears closer to my eyes. It's brutal honesty and insight is astounding. I am yet to read a fic that surpasses this in many an area. Absolutely amazing!

I really enjoyed this story. It was poetic in a way that was blantly innocent while at the same time serious and depressing. I like that in a story

I've read this story more times than I can count, and yet it just now occurs for me to review it. 'Fallen' touches me in a way few fanfics ever do. I love the reflective bits of the fic, especially: "I remember being sixteen, dragged kicking and screaming into death..." So moving. I love when authors have the sense to link back to the past becuase it makes things much more real. In life, we are constantly referring back, examining how we've changed and how we've stayed the same, and this is a perfect example of that ever so human attribute. The line about Angel, also, strikes a heartbreaking chord with me: "The answering machine picks up and suddenly I realize that I have nothing to say. I've had to say goodbye to him too many times, but I never had to say it with words. I can say it in tears and I can say it in blood, but I think I've been drained of both. Words are all I have." There is no way to describe this phrase. It is beautiful and haunting and sad, and there is nothing you could have done to make it better, because it is perfect in its wonderful simplicity. Buffy's comments about Angel are so true to form. I don't know if you meant for this, but the irony is overwhelmingly spectacular. He left her so that her life could be good and normal and here she is, ready to die, and he is fulfilled. Whether he actually is or not is irrelevant. She thinks he is happy, and he thinks the same of her. Neither of the characters have ever been brilliant when it comes to being insightful into each other's psyches. That's it. That's my review. I love this story, thank you so much for sharing it with all of us. Thank you.

That was a really moving tribute to BA and one of the best 'songfics' I've read in awhile.

I liked it a lot. It was sad and showed a side of Buffy you knew was there but never really got to see.

Excellent. Best A/B songfic I've read in a long time. Slightly inconsistent with what we saw at the end of "The Gift" (I don't think Buffy'd planned on sacrificing herself), but that doesn't really matter. Way to go!
