This looks very interesting so far. I like the different POVs you've done. Joyce's fear, Angel's guilt and uncertainty, Giles's anger/hatred/uncertainty...

Love it! I think that the demon is interesting, something I haven't heard of before. I'm glad you decided to rewrite, because the plot is great so far.
