Great job. you really know how to grab a audience from the word go. i loved the idea that they signed their after lives over to wolfram and hart when they agreed to take over the firm it makes perfect sense and sound like something the senior partners would do. what i also love is Wes' reaction to Alexa and how she looked like Fred. i can imagine how hard this would hit home for him and how hard it would be to even be in the same room as her. personally i don't feel that much back-story has to be filled in for this fic mainly because i don't think people who aren't interested in the series would visit this site. As for your comment on why i haven't been reviewing that much of your work lately sorry about that. adapting 'Hell on Earth' is trickier then i first thought. removing the Buffy elements practically cut the story in half and it's slow going filling in the void. keep up the good work I'll be waiting for more updates soon.
Author's Response: Nonononono, don't even worry about it. I'm aware that you have other stuff going on than just to comment on what I write. I'd much rather you worked on Hell on Earth than comment, anyway... but... don't let that stop you from commenting every once in a while, k? K. Thank you ever so much for taking the time to even read the damn thing. |

WELL FINALLY I'm here. Sorry, that sort of called for an all-caps moment.
I know you know that I love this, and I really can't believe I'm the only one who has anything to say so far, but I figured I'd contribute to your piles of reviews. And as I can never come up with a good review that offers critisism of any kind, this may not be what you're looking for.
I can tell you again, though, that I think this is just great. I love how you've managaed to carry on with the series even while following the hard-to-avoid Everybody Dies plot that the series ended with. That was just clever and neat. I'd also like to compliment you on how well you write for the characters. You know just how they all think and react to things (I especially loved Angel's reaction to the "slice and pop" reference (and thanks for that, I felt minorly involved with the whole Angel team (hahaha) when you wrote that in, even if it is gross)).
The second or third time I read this was just after I'd finished watching Not Fade Away, and the transition is beautiful. Just beautiful.
I love that Anya is involved. The flashback scene was well written and explained her involvement effectively. My only concern is that this is a scene that is necessary, but if it was being watched by someone who did not watch any Buffy and only watched Angel, they might not follow with most of the background given. Possibly later in the episode (or in a later one) Anya's history could be expanded on slightly, though not to the extent that it was in Selfless; just enough to explain her previous involvement with the Buffy characters and her past as a vengeance demon.
I'm impressed at how quickly you've managed to get the plot moving. Invisible evil is always interesting.
Anyway, do continue. You have captured and raptured my attention.
Author's Response: Hahahahahahahaaaaaaaaaaaaa. ♥♥♥ Hi. You actually did give constructive critisism right now, you know. Just right now. Right just now. You just did. ♥ Thank you for your words. Keep reviewing, please, you give me good credits around here. |
