Does this mean something is going to develop between them?

Author's Response: Yes and no, but moreso yes. Spike will always love Buffy, but that doesn't mean that someone else can't have feelings for Spike. Also, this is kind of an "interlude", like the unseen episode or something, I don't actually plan on Kae being in the final battle, although I havnt yet decided why she wont be.
