It was short, but sweet. Your style made the sort of abrupt ending work fairly well... though I'm still unclear about Ethan and the beast. What was he attempting? Why was he at the beast's hand in the first place? Anyway, good work.

Author's Response: Yea ok, the end was bad, but we'll pick up Ethan later in the sequel which is way better than the first one. Sorry about the bad ending, but it'll be explained later.
