Good work. The only, tiny complait is the shortness. It's a little distracting. But like I said, it's a small one.
Author's Response: Yea, well you should try living my life and write a lengthy decent fan fic. Cannot be done. :) Thanks though. I started a sequel, but it didn't get much hype so I bailed on it. |

It was short, but sweet. Your style made the sort of abrupt ending work fairly well... though I'm still unclear about Ethan and the beast. What was he attempting? Why was he at the beast's hand in the first place? Anyway, good work.
Author's Response: Yea ok, the end was bad, but we'll pick up Ethan later in the sequel which is way better than the first one. Sorry about the bad ending, but it'll be explained later. |

Augh, just a guess, but I read the title and realized who the characters were, and thought maybe April was somehow going to be related to Ethan. April Rain, haha... um.
Author's Response: OH HA HA. I didn't even think about that when I wrote it. That's funny, and a nice idea. Originally the bad guy wasn't Ethan it was someone that I made up, but I thought it would be better to start out with someone that readers would recognize. That's funny though, good observation. |

Nice chapter. You're excellent at describing detail. I have a suspicion, ever so slight, as to what might eventually happen, but we'll see. :) Keep up the excellent work!
Author's Response: I would be curious as to what you think, basically because I'm not real sure how I'm going to end this one. My mind works a little weird. I already know what the sequel is going to be and how it's going to work, but I don't know how this will end in order to lead into the sequel. |

Loving this whole frequent update thing! And can I just say that when Spike did the twirly thing to keep April in his grip...HOT!!! I would pay a million dollars to have James Marsters do that to me ;) Although I do have to remain fairly loyal to my Angel.
Author's Response: I must say that I'm more of a Spike fan than Angel. Maybe it's because he's British, I don't know. Glad you're liking it though. |

Ah! What happened to one a day? Don't get me wrong, I'm glad you put two up, it's a nice surprise. Anyway, LOVE LOVE LOVE it! Can't wait to see what happens with Ethan.
Author's Response: In my defense, I didn't say I would only post one per day, I said at least one per day. I won't be around on the weekends though, so I'll try to post a three or four new chapters before Friday night. I'm super glad that you like it. Cool Beans! |

Great job! I love this story so far, but I'd love the chapters to be a little longer. Can't wait to see how April handles being the newest slayer. Update soon!
Author's Response: I would make the chapters longer, but I only have like 20 minutes to write at a time and I want to post what I have, so thus the chapter are real short. Thanks a bunch though. I'll be updating probably every day with at least one chapter. |
