I love how you’re concentrating on characters that were underused on the series. A lot of people continuing Angel’s story (including me) cheated to find ways of getting the old characters back. I like how you’re building a new core group from old characters and moving on with the story. Great plot for this chapter as well. Oh, and, the “opening credits” are pretty neat.
Author's Response: Thanks for the review. To be honest, I almost considered rewriting Not Fade Away so that Wesley doesn't die, for a variety of reasons. But I stuck with a whole new cast and hopefully they'll maintain that Angel Investigations feel that the old team had. |

really good chapter. I like how everyone plays their own part in the new AI, and can i just say....yay for harmony!
Author's Response: Although I feel like Harmony began to wear out her welcome midway through 5, i still respect her presence as a comic female in a testosterone-laden show. Anyway, thanks for reading, and you can count on her being around for more chapters. |

ROFL! I know the chapter itself is more of a suspence than anything else, but i just love all the little jokes in the dialouge. it makes it seem so much more 3-dimensional. Good job, finish next chapter soon!
Author's Response: Thanks, i love writing dialogue. Sometimes its hard to find the balance between what i'd like to write, and what needs to be said. And most of those jokes wouldn't make it past WB censors! |

What has Whistler ever been good for? Anyway great story. I have a question though, does Oz have his own mind, when he changes now?
Author's Response: I'm really glad you pointed out Whistler's uselessness, because let's just say it's not by accident....heheh. Well about Oz, he can pretty much control himself when in wolf-form. While he can't talk, or really even form thoughts, it's still Oz's mind making decisions in there. Anyway, thanks so much for reading and reviewing! |

I really like this Hodges guy, so i hope you dont kill him soon. Well excellent chapter, like the last 3, and it seems this episode really sets up alot of the mainplot line. Now it's official: I'm hooked!

Hey - anyone else catch the veronica mars references? lol, well i'll be the first to applaud you for that. And the chapter itself was great, as always. Its the longest one, but it really flies by.
Author's Response: i was hoping someone would catch that, but maybe not every buffy fans likes or even knows about VM. Well thanks for the review, and extra thanks for nothing the Logan Echolls thing (i guess it's more blatant copying than a reference, but hey).

Wow ... that just completely blew me away. Long first chapter, but well worth it. I'm not usually a fan of script format for reasons I really can't explain, but I was sucked in within the first minute or two of reading, and I couldn't stop. The amazing thing is that I could see that as an actual episode. Your grasp on characterization is unbelievable ... to say the least. I could actually hear each of them talking - it was right on the money, especially with Spike. I'll admit I'm hooked - this is one heck of a story, and I feel as though I just read a script for the actual show ... by no means an easy accomplishment!
Author's Response: Thank you so much for the r&r, i always love a good review. My goal is to as closely follow TV-esque presentation as i can, so naturally dialouge is heavily stressed. I'm just glad I'm getting it right, expecially with Spike (he's my fav). Thanks again for taking the time to read it, I know it's a bit longer than most (but script format really flies by =) ). |

Great follow-up to the introduction, and I wasn't disappointed! Great job, I like how you gave Oz a main place in the plot.
Author's Response: Thanks for the review. Oz has always been a great character, and it's suprisingly challenging to find just the right things to have him say. Still, it's fun to base episodes around him. |

| Wow. Wow...that was amazing! It seemed like it could have been what actually happened. The whole dialogue with Angel and Buffy after the battle seemed true to character. I could see where Angel was coming from and it was like something that he would say. Great job!! |

Cool first chapter. Long first chapter. But cool. I like that certain characters are being kept around. I think they'll really help fill the void left by the deaths of Wesley, Cordy, and Fred. (Illyria is a different character than Fred, you know). You definitely have a knack for dialogue and the characters.
Author's Response: Thanks for the review. I agree, it's tough to fill the character void with the loss of Cordelia, Wesley and Fred. And as much as i loved those characters, I appreciate the chance to develop less familiar ones like Oz and Nina. |
